Yes doctor l agree with you. Even l joined one such programme and my meditation was reduced. For some time I was quite excited and was eating less to keep things under control. Then l started feeling very exhausted. Now l am watchful about my intake but don’t take their words for granted. am following a healthy routine of proper eating and exercise. I just need to be energetic and lead a trouble free life. Thanks for the insight.
Absolutely Right. Excess Weight makes insulin sensitivity worse so you need more and more insulin to cope up with the situation and Glucose level remains high. If you cut down your weight at or less 25 BMI index it will start to make insulin sensitivity high and repair glucose intolerance.
ji, kyunki fruits mein fructose hota hai toh inko khaane ke 2 ghante baad glucometer mein sugar normal hi ayegi kyunki glucometer glucose test karta hai, lekin baad mein kuch ghanto baad blood mein glucose increase hua milega jab fructose glucose mein convert hokar blood mein ayega. saalon saal fruits khaane se generally sugar level badh jayega. Toh fruits se sugar nahi badhti ye galat baat hai jo kaafi log aajkal video banaker guru bane baithe huye hain, Dr Kalra unka jald pardafash karenge aur guide karte rahenge.

Very well said. It is simple doctor. 1) regular walking exercise karo 2) watch your food intake portion size and have protein fiber rich medium calories 3) take medicine properly as advised and get regular checkups 4) try to reduce stress and do try meditation
Thanks Doctor. Your presentation is well researched and balanced. But I have a different story to tell. I am quite disciplined. I was diagnosed type 2 at HbA1c of 8.8 not alarming, but high. Over time I am into calorie restricted, high carb, low fat diet. Calorie restriction is attained by intermittent fasting 16-8 for five days a week. 10,000 steps a day, of which 3000 intence ones of Nitric oxide dump, simultaneously. About one Kg of vegetables and fruits a day. Just about 300 ml of milk and curds to fulfill my B12 needs and pro- biotic. I am lacto-vegiterian. I keep fats low, less than 40 gm a day. Most of it is coconut oil and butter. But I also have either olive oil or seaseme oil of about 5 gm a day, to get a mix of unsaturated and saturated fats. (40 gms including all added fats). I try to be under the sun for about 10 min a day and two days a week I do some assymetric exercises. Results are not dramatic, my HbA1c is less than 6 after 10 months. But I do have patience and perseverance. I am 62 and I am capable of persisting with the regime for ever.
My father was diagnosed with diabetes. Next 3-4 years, he controlled his diet strictly. After 4 years, he was completely cured. He started eating normal food. Even he did never miss sweets. But whenever he got his sugar test, it was always normal without any medicine. Diabetes can be cured permanently if a person start controlling sugar level at early stage.
It is very good to hear. Can u describe in detail what was father’s hba1c was when he was detected with diabetes and what it is now. I also reduced my hba1c from 8.2 to 5.3 without medicine. But I cannot say whether it is cured.
@@nitishvidyadharan8240 Sorry Sir. I was 8-9 years old that time. So I have no idea what did he do. He was diagnosed diabetes in 1982-83. I can still remember, he used to keep toffees in his pocket because many times he fell down due to lower sugar level ( Hypoglycemia) . In summer 1987, it was revealed that there is no need of medication. Gradually he started eating normal food and after few months , he started sweets. Firstly started Rasgulla then other sweets also. Whenever he was tested, always blood sugar was in control without any medicine & diet control. He passed away after 11 years due to cardiac arrest but there was no role of diabetes. My Uncle was also diabetic but he never controlled his diet so type 2 diabetes converted into type 1. My father always made him understand but my uncle didn't have determination & discipline.
@@nitishvidyadharan8240 Sir, you must keep this level at least for 7-8 months or one to two years. I hope, your damaged beta cells will be rejuvenated. I read in a news paper report that if a person with type 2 diabetes controls his sugar level for a long period, there is chance of recovery of beta cells. Don't give up hope. Be strict on your diet & regular exercise. In later months try to get glucose resistance test. It took 4-5 years to come back at normal condition to my father. Not an easy task but not impossible.

I am diabetic (weight at that time was 56 kg for a height of 5.4 feet, means i am thin))which was diagnosed 10 years back. At that time my hba1c was 8.2. i brought it down to 5.6 within 6 to 8 months through diet and exercise & without any medicine. then in between these 10 year period it had gone upto 6.5. Now at present my hba1c is 5.3 without any medicine. i didnt join any reversal program. If anyone wants proof, i can show it also.
@@proudindian9140 , ten years back when I was detected with diabetes, that time i stopped eating rice and high glycemic foods like potato. Stopped eating fruits except for eating fruits like apple , orange, guava occasionally. I started eating oats for breakfast ,also oats with vegetables, dals, pulses etc in lunch, 4 chappatis with sabji in dinner. With this diet my hba1c reduced to 5.6 within 6 to 8 months. But here only diet is not the contributors. I used to cycle everyday for 6 km. I used to do resistance training every alternate days. So workout is also contributer of reducing sugar. Without workout , sugar may have not reduced. Then when I get relaxed with my diet or workout , my hba1c used to increase above 6.0. Six months back it was 6.5. And my tryglycerides increased to 306, as I was eating millets day and night.for me millets didn't work. So I did keto diet and intermettant fasting. In keto diet i used to reduce to my carbs below 50 GM in a day. I used to eat only two times. I used to eat chappatis made of low carb atta and eat paneer/ egg curry plus vegetables. I used to drink bullet proof coffee in which ghee is used. I used to eat kilobeaters porridge which is low carb and lots of vegetables. I used to eat badam, chia seeds along lunch and dinner. This way it reduced my hba1c to 5.3 and also reduced my triglycerides to 117. Here diet is the main contributer. Now i increased my carb content. But still my fasting blood sugar is 80 to 90.
I am 47 years old and have had diabetes for the past 26 years. I have reduced my weight from 100 to 70 kilograms, but I still take medications like Jardiance with metformin and trisiba insulin. Previously, I took 300 units of Humalog and Trisiba Insulin; now, I only take 20 to 30 units, but my HBA1C is still 7 with intermittent fasting of 18 to 20 hours. anything would you like to advise me please.
Dr shb not agreed… now diabetic can be reversed and managed by changing lifestyle , dietary habits , fasting and exercise regularly….many examples around us….
Sir isme kuch naya nhi seekha ...we all knw tht reversal can be possible for Typ2 DM (that is charecterised by normal insulin levevels but incresed insulin resistance aur uska ek karan motapa /metabolic syndrome etc ki cond ho skti hai).. Apse vinti h sir ki ek baar un logo ke baare me naam le kr batein jo ye bolte hain ki typ 1 DM ko reverse kr denge..

Sir. I have seen some sugar testing watch type round equipment strapped on one hand's muscle that sends sugar levels in his mobile continuously throughout day night. The moment he eats anything soon after some time he gets msg of sugar increased in his blood because of food intake. Kindly make video on this testing equipment. He told me it's cost about ten thousand. He is diabetic.
