I've got to say, I was on the struggle-bus trying to clear level 61. I was clearing 50% of the time with only a couple mins to spare. I still don't have enough CR (have a 16 sec FS) but now 61 is EZ mode. Clearing with over 8 mins left. Thank you for this build!
Made a late season build change with the use of this guide, went from struggling on pit 90’s to comfortably doing 111 pits havnt tried to go much further, went with yen’s blessing on boots to help with shield up time as I couldn’t quite get immortal flame shield but with max rolled yens I usually at most have like 1-2 seconds of down time! Thanks for the build guide ! Was a lot of fun for the tail end of the season 👍
Just best Uber Lilith with my blizzard sorcerer….was super stoked. Don’t have immoral flame shield, but my ice spikes can do over 5mil of damage. What really put my build over the top was getting ring of starless skies and gaining the aspect of devouring blaze on my amulet (it ended up adding plus four to devouring blaze.) before getting those two things my spikes got to about 3 million damage. Fun build to play, good for solo tormented bosses too.
It took a while. Everything is masterwork to at least 9, with two 12s. Make sure your paragon board is optimized. There are some good blizzard sorcerer build guides on RU-vid.

Currently just over half way on this build and it is nuts. I’m starting to get overflows of 1 million damages each vulnerable/critical strike and to de more at the end lol
The increased blizzard size temper is actually hurting your damage, because while it increases the size of your blizzard spell, it doesn't increase the size or frequency of the ice spikes, meaning the ice spikes are more spread out and therefore are less likely to hit a specific target (like a boss). I also don't understand why you're running a Tactician glyph on your starter board but haven't put enough dexterity to activate the 10% damage multiplier bonus, seems like a waste. Your Flamefeeder glyph is at 34/25, while your Destruction glyph is at 29/25. With Esu's, your crit chance should be close to 100%, meaning Destruction gives you double the damage bonus per 5 dex compared to Flamefeeder. Given how well it scales, I would put as much dex into Destruction as possible, but at a minimum you could swap these two glyphs on your board to get a bit more damage for free.

I like flameshield and incinerate for enchantments..flameshield will activate on damage of 100 or more..incinerate causes explosions on death ..in crowds the explosions deal extra damage..and it works with blizzard and ice spikes for the extra damage on the gear enchantments.
pit 90 now, p.s love the build, put in umb on ring onstead and got better legs for better stats use. as bars pretty much full all the time even when casting.
For starters, thank you for taking the time to share this build with us. So far, I'm enjoying it very much. I'm not quite there with all the equipment, but it's serving me well already. I had a frozen orb sorc that I was using and after spending way too much time, it was nearly perfect. However, I was stuck. I was able to blast through the pits, but couldn't capitalize when I reached the boss. This build has already got me pushing Tier 104 pits. I just need help with one item... could you please clarify aspects needed on the wand? The build shows critical damage/vulnerable damage/Intelligence, and the video shows critical damage/attack speed/intelligence, neither of which is possible... or am I mistaken? I have spent countless hours trying to get these aspects and they're not even options when I try to enchant at the occultist. Thanks in advance!
as am i. you cant reroll for attack speed if you have vul or CSD already in your stats. i have yet to see CSD and atk sp together and vice versa for vul and CSD together in the many runs in helltide i've done so far. so is this wand stats even possible with either of these stats. critical damage/vulnerable damage/Intelligence or damage/attack speed/intelligence?
The build is pointless unless you have the gear to make flame shield last that long and cooldown reduction. I will definitely try it once I have the gear for it. But for now, I find with pre-uber gear, the staff build with Esu's Ferocity attack speed one works smoother. I do use prodigy ring(give up conceit), and tibault's to keep mana up and just spam Blizzard. I have constant barrier and ice armor comes back very fast because of the sheer amount of mana you spend fast when the 72% attack speed kicks in.
Get mana per sec on boots, helm & chest (and maybe masterwork to 5mana per sec) and you should be able to drop Prodigy's for amother damage aspect. But make sure to temper resouRce Gen or cost reduction on your jewellery.
@@animalchin5082 thanks for the tips. It’s just that 99.9% of Lego’s that drop with greater affixes have the wrong ones. I seriously don’t get how these guides are all designed around gear that’s next to impossible to achieve…. I haven’t even entered the pit yet. Still stuck grinding renown to get the last paragon, and it’s so boring I’m honestly just losing interest.
Not really man. With enough cooldown reduction, you can spam telaport out if any sticky situation. I've been managing just fine with high pit runs. 🤷♂️
I just use spark to trigger my tal tasha ring. Put 1 in fire bolt 1 in spark. Every day is something different though lol. Always trying new builds. Today I’m thinking I’ll just remove my basic skill and use teleport to trigger it.
@@tonynguyen4136 yep with hectic aspekt just need one procc of hectic per fs duration just hold firebolt button the animation gives you free hectics spamming ice spikes everywehere else
If you build frozen orb the right way, there is no way blizzard build is faster when it comes to bossing/single target, or am i wrong? I'm like 30-40 sec for ALL tormented bosses with frozen orb. How fast can this blizzard build clear tormented bosses?

anyone who can tell me why i need to press the ice blade button like 5-7 times before the MFG wants to spawn it... kinda ruin the build for me like this....
Im assuming fire damage on paragon board (flamefeeder) when i'm cold damage mainly only applies to buffing flameshield damage? Im not seeing anywhere else pulling fire damage. Just wondering if a different path would've netted better damage, like frostbite glyph instead
I have been looking for this build for a week, you're a hero m8.. Thoughts on starless skies over other ring or not worth losing the aspect and temps on another ring??
@@jenniferpreston3346 Its very good in this build with Esu's on amulet though +75 atk speed still works and with starless you're firing a ton of blizzard's overlapping - all tormented bosses, lilith and pit 110+ is very easy
Hi, I finish the build I’m missing CD like 10% of it but my question is how I sustain mana besides teleport ? Is literally hard I can’t pass pit 70 cuz I’m getting killed I can’t even reach the boss since the shields won’t stay enough time to be perma shield
Is there any cap on ice spike damage? Isnt it like a diminishing return once you hit the cap? Im using damage to close on one of my gear just thinking if its better to roll with ice spikes
Avalanche with buffed aspect is good only if you don’t have enough mana Regen but since blizzard itself doesn’t do a lot of damage it’s not the best key stone to go since the 60% damage for blizzard is near useless in higher levels. Esus ferocity with 50% attack speed aspect or even shatter for mobs/elites with aspect would be better since the damage comes from ice spikes not blizzard.
Sorc is my main class but when playing Blizzard Sorc I rather play my Bash Barb again. Yes my Sorc runs 101 also in under 5 minutes, perfect for farming but it feels so damn slow and boring, also always squishy because of you need you barriers up all time, meanwhile, my Barb just has so much health and still damage reduction, well, yes, I can die, but I facetank way more and do more damage, doing my 101 runs in under 3 minutes. So double the speed basically. They need to fix Sorc, either way, Magic should feel powerful or with magic we should easily get tanky. But we are nothing of both. I miss my Ball Lightning Sorc (also played it Season 3, not just the bug season 2) and well, it was way more my idea of power fantasy. Hope with Season 5 and 6 they will finally fix Sorc. Again.
100% agree with you. Sorcerer definately feels weak right now and I feel like I can do everything on my rogue faster/easier than sorc. I love playing sorc, but it definately feels weak right now!

Who can explain to me, why my cd on flame shield is so big (13.97 sec). I have all the items except the talrasha, Why is there such a big lack of cooldown reduction? I have cd reduction on helmet, amulet and 2nd weapon, what else? Even without helmet at all he have 2 sec less cd on skills
All depends how much cooldown reduction your getting on each item. A greater affix on cooldown reduction is a massive boost, and then then if you manage to master work and it lands on Cooldown reduction it gets even bigger. I have 50.4% cooldown reduction right now, and 20% of that is coming from offhand which is GA on Cooldown reduction + double master worked, bringing flame shield down to 9.9 seconds.
Cool down reduction. Flame shield duration. And attack speed for the aspect to reduce cdr. I can get to 2 sec. Need crazy gear for infinite Flame shield.

Does anyone have an ice build that is good and doesn't revolve around burning? I want to be an ice mage. Not a mage that shoots people with frozen chunks of acid.
You can play a pure ice build, but most of the time it doesn't scale well at high levels, you might hit a cap on how far in the pit you can go. Unlike other classes, sorcerer doesn't have many sources of damage multipliers. Which is why lots of builds take the burning damage, tal's ring etc. So we can scale our damage a little higher.
@@MedievalMarty I've successfully gotten to Pit 39 solo with my build and no reliance on fire. I am starting to hit my limits though. A huge aspect of my build so far is being constant regeneration though which makes me unkillable. I have a ton of life on hit and I'm using ice shards with the ability to piece multiple targets plus blizzard with the ice spikes. I refused to take any fire or lightning. Which means I don't have teleport, the burning effect or fire shield. Only reason I am saying I'm hitting my limit is while the bosses can't even kill me I'm reaching a point where soon I won't be able to clear it in the time limit simply because I don't dish out enough damage no matter what I try with my pure ice build.
F*ck. I just meant to send a respec scroll to my mage to try this, and instead I used the respec scroll on my main barbarian. Now I gotta respec my whole main build, AND my mage....and I blame you. 😂
Touch some grass man. This game has been a blast so far. Quit no-life maxing and go frolick around and do side quests. Otherwise known as playing the game. You guys play you think games are boring, when in reality they aren’t made for people playing 8hrs a day.
