Poe is definitely a game to be played for a longer time than D4. The endgame is where the real game starts with all the features to explore to the fullest

If you are going to play blind, be ready to re-roll your character fully when you get to maps, or even earlier. I promise you, following a guide will not kill the enjoyment of the game. I'd say it'd be a bad call, when you wanna try the game out, following a guide. "Best, 1 gazillion DPS build for Uber-duper-" won't mean shite when you need half a month to reach the maps and another month to gather all the currency for the mandatory gear parts. Rerolling ain't bad if you're used with it and judging by his 100 level 100 characters, he is. So facetanking the PoE's character progression might be a lot more up his alley than getting some professional hand-holding.
This is like League of Legends players going in blind and wanting to play Ranked in DotA 2, expecting their 1337 sk1llz to carry over, meanwhile getting rofl-stomped and complaining about it along the way. Alright, sign me up for part 2!

i agree with the fucked up sound part the dialogue option is so unbalance i tweak it for an hour to get the right amount of sound to found out later when i started the boss fight that the dialogue gonna fuck my ears because holy shit its too loud
I have subscribed and will be looking forward to every new PoE video that you put out... it may come as a surprise but actually the PoE community is single handedly the best most cooperative community I have ever had the experience of enjoying in a videogame setting. I can tell you will fit right in just by how the video was done... yeah we all love to shit talk, but its just the way of an exile. Its not meant to be taken serious and we all know how to talk shit without getting mad about it lol, its a way of life. I came into PoE without knowing anyone in the community, yet in my first season alone after I started using global chat to ask some questions, friends just started rolling in and they ALL wanted to help out in some way. Everyone loves helping others to learn in this game. Its like a torch that gets passed down from one person to another and we all repay the favor over time. I hope you continue to make this videos and I can't wait to see what you actually think of the game by the time you get to 'maps' after the campaign finishes. Do yourself a solid..... make sure you complete the campaign and then make the full assessment on whether or not the game was worth it. I'm willing to bet everything that by the end of the campaign you will be proud to call yourself an 'Exile' and join the PoE movement for the long-haul. By then Grinding Gear Games will already have your soul and your mind will be blown your first time completing maps with the Atlas tree. Welcome friend, hope to see more! Patiently waiting to see part 2 drop... restart the campaign in league but not on SSF or Ruthless so it's felt more proper as a first time playthrough. Hoping you come back to this one, loved the content, your video and editing is funny as fuck bruh. I know D4 just dropped the new season but when you come back to try again, please take my word for it and dont' try to do ruthless + SSF your first time. The game first try is hard enough as is... the last thing we need you to do is quit because you brick and just 'dont return'.... anyway, I check every couple days to see if you've dropped another one.... come back exile

Ruthless is like having half of quality of life and "fun" being stipped away. No movement, almost no drops of items, currency. It's literally masochistic mode even for players who know the game.
First time I tried Ruthless this league, coming after a long break (ever since Expedition got barfed into the game). And I love it. Love it even more that the builds for it don't exist. "You just need this 9180 unique items and jewels and you're good to go!". Get by, scrape by, be happy when an alch drops. Granted, there are few things that sour the experience a bit, mostly related to traversal skills (especially when you need them to navigate the rivers of vommit) and I find it uninspiring that Kirac's battle pass doesn't give any rewards in Ruthless (even if, looking at them, they aren't that great to start with anyway). All in all, I don't think I'll ever go back to normal leagues, but I giggled when I saw Perra going SSFR right off the bat :D
Good, job with act 1, if you have any white items, try orb of transmutation or orb of alchemist on them. Will make them blue or yellow it's much better. I can see you have 5 transmutation and 2 alchy orb at 9:53. try to use them wisely. Also, dont forgot to level up your gems.
I tried D4 with my friends cuz it was in the game pass, we got to end game and shit was just not interesting enough or difficult, thanks to D4 we gave poe a real try, we having a blast got all my friends hooked shits amazing cant wait for poe 2.

10:03 Poe cosmetics is optional like D4, you can buy it if you want, the true cost is stash tabs, few special tabs are required or it will be super Uber tedious to manage inventory, namely one must have to even play normally is the currency tab. They simply expect you to pay at least those few tabs to play.
The tabs you "need" all combined cost less than a fullprize game, so that's kinda fair. So functionallity vise there is no cost issue, but anyone who cares for cosmetics will get poor on this game. Most basecosmetics are intentionally bad to encourage paying, quite a lot are locked behind fomo mechanics and lootboxes, and in general they are pretty high prize.
@@LittleRadicalThinker pay-for-convenience is not the same thing as pay-to-win. In a pay-to-win game the more money you spend the more power you get. No amount of money will let you beat juiced T17 maps or uber bosses. If you could pay real money for currency (from the game itself, RMT doesn't count), or movement speed, or to prevent experience loss on death, then it would be pay-to-win
@@etrosknight2254 pay for convenience is a subset of pay to win. You have the convenience, then you can progress faster and easier with a lot less headaches. That’s the very definition of pay to win. As I always said, just get rid of your F currency tab and play Poe. And if you can progress at the same pace as with the currency tab, then you talk, or shut up and admit it’s pay to win.
@@LittleRadicalThinker You're wrong, pay-to-win requires the continuous input of money into the game and the more money you spend, the more of an advantage you have over other other players. POE is effectively a buy-to-play game because you only have to spend the money once to get access to all the features. Pay-to-win games allow you to pay money to reduce the cooldown of time-gated activities, buy temporary damage or speed increases, or eliminate experience loss on death. Or it might involve buying lootboxes which contain a random assortment of playable characters, weapons, cards, etc. which you can use to compete directly against other players. Since POE has nothing that requires you to continuously sink money into in order to beat other players or progress through the game, it's not pay-to-win, and calling it that diminishes the predatory design of actual pay-to-win games like Diablo Immortal or many Korean MMOs.
The main problem of people playing PoE for the first time is that they try to play Diablo in it without going beyond and not understanding what they are playing at all. When I see a beginner running around hard and trying to make some kind of build himself... What are the chances that he will even understand what he was playing after going through 10 acts? I think 0. PoE is so diverse and vast, and a player in a simple diablo will just pass by without even realizing it. The only way to understand what kind of game it is is to watch 100 guides or call a friend who will explain.
playing bow build blind too, just hit a wall at lvl77, time to rebuild, with out a guild it takes a lot of time experimenting but that's were i find the fun, ten years in and still finding new base game content :P
choosing ruthless was a mistake. I dont think that anyone, even 1.5 people who play ruthless, will say that this is a real poe experience. this mode is completely different. I recommend to switch to a normal SSF upd: ok, I see you change it later
About 100hrs in to 3.23 league and I started to understand it slightly. Still have no idea how to craft properly. Great game though if you follow a build guide and then mapping becomes fun af. But not understanding crafting drove me nuts bc everything good you need is expensive af
Low level crafting is mostly an essence on a base (cheap fractured base if you want) until you hit another mod or two you want. So you get 2-3 useful mods and possibly a bunch of other mods. But if you aren't looking for anything specific and just want usual combination of life+res (+ms on boots) they are quite cheap so crafting will be more expensive (it's probably not worth it to craft stuff under a divine unless you need just one mod that essence will give). Mid level crafts I have no idea about, they are usually specific to a build, and build guide should note them. Then you get to the fun part, high level crafting. Be prepared to sink multiple hours worth of currency into one item, usually a lot of randomness, though meta crafting helps a lot. Then mirror crafting exists, but that's an entirely different story.
I like how...I see someone fully realize the Hidden secret of this game that makes it Dump D4 in the water...the theory crafting and endless experimentations with skill gems and support gems...
