gear could use a bit more optimization with affix and aspect rolls. Also could shave more time if I didn't get stuck on corners with teleport.
Thins I DO NOT LIKE + suggestions
1. for the gauntlet, i'm not really a fan of the rng random demon spawn mechanic or those double point shrines. and if it's not rng, then it's not talked about or explained in game or given any indication of when they spawn, or however many points/what intervals they spawn at.
I do believe that they start spawning every 10k points, and will continue to do so til end of timer, these elite spawns are permanent til the end of the run, so wherever they land, that's where they would respawn as well.
2. At a fresh start, there are static elites that don't respawn after you kill them. (even with the revive shrine). I'm not sure why, there's just some elite packs don't respawn for whatever reason.
3. Also not a fan of forcing a meta where now you have to have shrine duration affixes on gear to compete.
4. On another note, I do wish there was a way to have a separate leaderboard for those with or without ubers. Forcing people to be pigeon holed into farming ubers or be SOL for competing in this mode, is not good for the game. There should be separate categories.
5. If they do want to have this gauntlet mode permanently, then I would suggest either removing the double point shrines, or have them be a static amount of time that isn't affected by shrine duration affixes. Also having a visible timer for the double point shrines would be nice to have.
6. IMO it's a bit too easy? would be interesting if there was a t100 variant version of this, however, going fast is pretty fun.
Things I DO LIKE
1. The things i do like about the gauntlet are how fast paced it is, the different strategies there are for pathing, and something to show off/do when you have pretty decent gear. Would also be cool to have cosmetic rewards.
