I haven't found any use for the new essences in pve either. Kind of a bummer. Interesting build there with the electrum luna and sjikar, though. I don't have a lot of shields but looks fun to try
thanks for the build video, including the paragon trees! will give some of your suggestions a try. agree that the new essences are disappointing in pvp. i tested in bg and couldn't get my opponents bleeding long enough to have much impact, even with grace set. imho dh is still more burst than dots class. so... when will you be reading patch notes with us? jkjk
Thanks for this Keyes, appreciate the insights on the essences and forges. I've class switched and am concerned with reforging everything - will literally need to reforge every slot. How much more survivability do you think you get, going all defense? Basically is this essential? ~Barebum
You have two reforge load outs you can save. I think barrier is great in general, and you can keep another reforge for pve stuff. I don't think it's requried but 100% helps to have another shield every 10 seconds.
Yea, i have PVE square. It’s just if i change my PVP set, I am unwinding a lot of good rolls for the barb. Course defense wont be bad for barb either. Thanks. Ill think on it given its a big commit.
Yup, every 6 seconds while out of combat will heal you for % of max life. This stat is not strifed. It's not that useful in PvP (outside of vault) other than helping during your bandage.
Your so close but soooo far.. painsower is nothing without the chest that refills strafe .. i can pull 365mil in 1 minute on the training dummy with only 2600 reso, your reso makes you blind to the most important details 😢
This is a pvp build, so i don't know what you're smoking. No one can channel that long with sinful vigor in PvP to make it worthwhile. In PvE, every build runs sinful vigor with painsower. But again, it clearly says PvP, talks about PvP in every part of the video, and shows PvP. Training dummy is not a good test of how a build performs in BG's.

i think you missed the entire first part of the video where it goes over painsower build. If you comment, make sure you actually watch the video. I also mention that bleeds don't work well against high resistence targets.
