What would you do for a “p0019 - crankshaft position correlation bank 2 sensor B” does this indicate the sensor or there is a problem with the crankshaft? It did overheat once when the oil cooler return line blew. It has a knock at idle but goes away above 1k rpm
Misfire more one cylinder gives u random misfire because computer cannot accurately determine which cylinder is misfiring how did u get confused if I may ask ?
Great video! I actually did that exact same thing on my 2007 Lexus RX 350 because I got the P0356 code which said that there was an issue with the coil on cylinder six. So I actually did the same exact thing to confirm if it was the coil? I switched out the coils and it still gave me the same code. So do you think it is a spark plug? Or do you think you could be something else?
Just recently been having random misfires on my '09 Avalon 3.5 V6. I suspected that it might be a coil. My mechanic is going to look at it next week. If it is a bad coil I hope it is on the front cylinder bank. I hear replacing a coil on the back requires taking off the intake manifold.
You don’t HAVE to remove it but it’s much easier to replace the spark plugs/coil when you do. Also if you have gorilla hands you’ll probably need to remove it. I’m 6ft medium build and can just barely do it.
Yes, but make sure you do the switch first to verify it is a coil and not something like a wiring or connector issue. You can also use the same technique with spark plugs as well as a bad plug could cause the same issue as well. If it is a back coil and/or plug (cylinders 1-3-5) you need to just replace all of them as it is a bigger job to get to them with having to remove the intake, throttle body, wipers, cowls, drip trays, etc. You can see all that has to be removed to get to the back cylinders in this video at this time stamp: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gOxVPvQSxaw.html
