I had gestational diabetes in all 3 of my pregnancies and it's amazing how as soon as you give birth, your sugar levels are back to normal. I even had to give myself insulin injections to control it. Just watch your diet and exercise a little like walking. إن شاء الله you and baby will be fine.
Gestational diabetic is more common than you would think and it's not anything to flap about . It's more common in older mums. You need to manage it just like any other condition. Watch your diet intake and include regular light exercise into your routine. Also having gestational diabetes is an indicator that you are susceptible to having diabetes when you grow older, that's what my doctors discussed with me. I was diagnosed with the same and the docs here in UK handled it absolutely great. NHS gave me sugar monitor machine to monitor my sugar readings on a daily basis, apart from that they were also monitoring the growth of the baby every 2nd week,as the baby grows larger than average because of insulin being a growth hormone. My baby had to be sectioned week 37 as he was full grown. They kept me in to administer medication that would help with development of babies lungs at Wk35 apart from that it was normal. The sugar levels went back to normal within a month after baby was born but my doctors suggested to keep a watch on my diet anyways to avoid future complications. Prevention is always better than cure All the very best 💕
You explained it perfectly, I too was diagnosed with gestational diabetes for both my kids, for my elder daughter, i had to have insulin injections and had a lot of weight gain. Take long walks but at a normal pace. Keep checking your sugar levels with the portable kit. The day the baby is born, the diabetes just disappears but yes, you have to be mentally ready, now my kids are 22 & 20 years now and I have developed diabetes now. All the best Dipika, be calm and happy ❤
Same here.. both pregnancies I had gestational diabetes but first pregnancy insulin and checking sugar levels now n then 😣 but Delivery was normal and safe
I was in the same predicament as you. I walked a lot , monitored my sugars and had to be on insulin . The size of the baby was monitored very closely. In the end , with gestational diabetes, I had three normal deliveries. You will do great and looking at tha way you exercise, you will have a great delivery . All the best !
Gestational diabetes is very common,I too had during my 1st pregnancy, nothing to worry but follow the doctors diet very well.God bless you and your baby.....praying that all goes well for both.
My mom was also diagnosed with type 1 gestational diabetes and unluckily she didn't cured🥺 but I'll pray for you inshallah everything will be perfect ❤️🧿
Do not worry Dipi. Have faith. Everything will be fine. Just smile and spend time with your family, exercise and maintain your diet. You are made of ❤. Warm hugs and wishes....
Assalamualaikum dipika dii...i am a Dietician so I want to say that gestational diebetes is very common in pregnancy and this goes away after pregnancy so you don't have to worry....the only things you have to do is maintain your diet and exercise and doctor's advice and supplements and free stress free. One more very important thing to keep in your mind is that the women who suffer from gestational diebetes have a great chance to develop Type 2 diabetes after pregnancy may be after few months or few years so to prevent this you have to maintain your diet and exercise after pregnancy too by consulting your doctor and Dietician....May Allah bless you and baby with good health Aameen.
Ma shaa Allah ap dono k vlogs bohat energy daitain hain ,Delivery mai asani k liyeh 9th month k start sy ap aur shoaib aur ami sab chalty phirty yani k jitna ziyada ho saky Surah insheqaaq ayah numb 4 and 5 parhain bohat asaani hti hai normal delivery main
My friend was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during her pregnancy. And she recently delivered a healthy baby. Keeping calm is the best attitude IA everything will be ok
Hi Deepika- Its quite normal and I had the gestational Diabetes too. Just work on your diet and stay active after each meal. Stay positive. Everything will be alright, much love to you and the baby. Staying positive and being calm controls all the stress related hormones and your blood glucose. Listen to good music, meet friends, stay happy
Don't worry dipika things will be fine it's only a phase which will go very soon. The onset of a very exciting journey like never before an unparalleled experience of parenthood awaits you
I had also gestational diabetes dear dont worry everything will be alright i have 19 months daughter and mashaAllah she is fine and healthy but now i had given my blood sample and again i m on boundry line because my father had diabetes but i m controlling my sugar levels ❤️ 💙
I’m not saying it’s gud or bad but hats off to the viewers who watch long videos patiently and get so much time out of busy life for these people for their personal life
I had GD too & it did make me sad initially because I’m in the UK & they really scared me with how many precautions I have to take 😀.. I was really strict with my diet, followed their diet chart thoroughly.. just having 4 tablespoons of rice, not more than 1 chapati, just 4 tablespoons of pasta, no sugar etc.. then 15 mins of walk after every meal & recording my sugar levels 4 times a day… it was too much but it’s all worth it in the end when they do the test after delivery for your sugar & also your baby’s sugar & tell you that you are both absolutely fine 🤲🏻.. it made me lose a lot of weight and my baby was born quite small but the labour & delivery were very smooth & quick.. so overall it all ended well… Inshallah everything will go smooth for you too 🤲🏻
Precaution is very important, it increases the risk of diabetes post delivery too. Hope that is not the case with you InshaAllah. Mine is next month. Hope it goes well Ameen
I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes in both my pregnancies, it's nothing to worry. Just follow healthy diet and regular walk. Lots of love and prayers for you❤
I too went through the test it's also known as glucose tolerance test I guess ... I was not diagnosed with gestational diabetes but I developed gestational B.P very high mine was a high risk pregnancy and fluid too was bit high, I followed all the instructions given by my gynea I was suggested to be active and thus she allowed me to continue with my job till the completion of 8 month there after I was on complete bed rest to bring my BP down ... whatever I did it was never down but after the delivery it came to normal...rest relax and take care Dipi....everything is gonna be fine loads of prayers for you take care stay blessed.
Ma sha ALLAH ALLAH pak apki khushyo ko ko har bure nzr sy bcha kay rkhy ALLAH pak apko sugar sy jld shefa dy ALLAH pak Khair sy zindge wali seht kay sth duniya Mai lay in sha ALLAH 🤲 aameen sum aameen 🤲 ALLAH pak Shoaib Bhai jsa beta Bhai husband sbko dy aameen sum aameen 🤲❤
It can be developed in 20 weeks as well. You need to monitor your blood sugar levels 4 times in a day and according to the results you need to change your diet that I did in my pregnancy.
Don't worry I also got diabetes in my first pregnancy but it just was normal with diet and after delivery the reports was normal. "Gtt test glucose tolerance test" they do for pregnant women. Be normal don't worry just avoid sugar.
Hi Dipika, I have 7 month old baby Nd i was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes during my last trimester... I have read earlier comments as people hve shared their experience nd i have aso something very important to share with you.. Firstly go for a blood test again after a week and do monitor your sugar at home as you said u r doing.. If it is on higher side consult diabetes specialist he or she will recommend you either medecine or injection as per your level... The most important thing is it effects baby for initial three days..rest every pregnancy is different so wish you all the best take care of you and take it little bit serious..
How beautiful it is that every one is soo concerned about each other...your comments are so beautiful and informative....where everyone is spreading bad vibes but u all are so lovable ❤❤❤😊
I too had gd when I was expecting my 2nd child. As I live in Singapore my doctor suggested to drink cucumber juice and it really helps in controlling sugar. I usually had ABC juice Apple beet and cucumber juice
Hello my super girl 👧❤! Yes I had a gestational diabetes too when I was pregnant. See you have this also common with me😊. But now a days it’s very common in pregnancy. I was strictly follow my diet and exercise. I hope you are absolutely fine and take care a lot. Loads of love from Canada 🇨🇦❤️💕❤️💕❤️❤️💕❤️💕
Hello ..I am also diagnosed with GD...it's just about balancing between cravings and not let your sugar levels go up. It won't be hard for you as you eat chicken. Keep eating some protein in your every meal. Goodluck and take care.
Hi dipi.. i too had gestational diabetes .. the trick I used was to have protien filled diet( eggs n chicken ) ..compensate carbs with protien and stir fry veggies .. spinach ,peppers, broccoli . For ex: If you are eating 1 paratha have 1 or 11/2 egg with it n some veggies .. it will help you to maintain the glucose levels
Waheguru ji blessings always beta 🙏 waheguru ji aap dona nu humesha khush rakhn 🙏 me waheguru ji to ardaas karangi ki agle janam ch mujhe aap dono jaise nek bache ho waheguru ji blessings always both of you n my sweetheart baby🙏🥰❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘
I also have pcos and I also diagnosed diabetic in pregnancy and had to give myself insulin but by the Grace of Allah, now I don't have diabetes and me and my baby is healthy ALLHUMDULLILLAH
I also had gestational diabetes during my 3rd trimester. I controlled it with restricted diet and 20 minutes walk after every meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner). While these restrictions can definitely control the sugar levels (which is necessary for the safety of your baby and you ) it also causes a lot of weakness post delivery and recovery takes longer. Just wanted to give you a heads-up so you are better prepared. I used to weigh my carbohydrates, proteins and vegetables for every meal. Definitely reduce your carbs, and increase your salads and protein to control your blood sugar.
She doesn't care. Don't waste your time on this lady. She will eat junk and sugar in two days... just wait and watch. She never ate anything healthy during pregnancy
Praying all goes well. It is part and parcel of pregnancy and both You Dipika and Shoaib are careful of every step in precautions having the right diet, exercise etc. God bless!!
@Dr. Doofenshmirtz! Then why does Shoaib still call her DIPI, that too with so much love. It is better we mind our own business. I just feel nice watching their vlogs where they tell us about their home, family, new house, their baby etc.
What hard work she does? Kabhi majdur aurat ko dekha hai? Pregnancy me bhi majduri karti hai,,,, Ye to din bhar AC me baith kr khane peene k alawa kya hard work karti hai, mujhe nhi samajh aaya
Pregnancy is such a beautiful feeling not only khana khana khana bahut bahut khana we really dout are you really pregnant kuyoki ki aapka bump ka size constantly change hi dikhai deta hai
It is called as GTT " Glucose Tolerance Test". And yes Gestational Diabetes is common...mujhe bhi thi when I was pregnant...thoda ab khane par overall dhyan rakhna hota h....
I have also experienced this gestational diabetes in my pregnancy it was my 1st pregnancy i got so panic but ALHAMDULLILLAH i delivered a healthy babyy ❤
I was also diagnosed GD, I delivered my baby in germany..I also got panic when I was diagnosed by it but my doc told me it’s very common in Asian women’s…I used to walk after every meal which helped me to control my sugar levels. Also I was advised to take protein rich diet.
Shoaib is the the best nd best person i have every seen in my life he is the best son best husband best frnd best brother nd i know he will be world's best dad as well Ma Sha Allah May Allah Bless You both nd full Ibrahim family with lot of happiness
Dipika's explanation resonates with class 12 biology reproduction chapter where they talk about placenta and its different hormones. Hpl hcg are hormones which can only be released during pregnancy by the placenta. Relaxin is released by ovaries but during pregnancy only
You are explaining it the way my medical school teachers used to do❤️😂 Its absolutely normal, it will recover in post partum 6 weeks InShaaAllah… Just control it from now
Though I'm watching u guys from d very beginning.. Earlier u both sounds so real n genuine, but after watching u on daily basis I've noticed so many things which totally changed my opinion for u both.. Shoaib always tries to show off d things n dipika u too sound so fake... Kuchh cheeze sahi tym pr dikhao to sahi rehta hai but aap dono ab bahut zyada show off krne lge ho...
GD is very common, I live in US and here I see it is very commonly diagnosed problem. It is all because of your placenta and sugar levels would get back to normal as soon as you deliver. I also had it with my pregnancy. I would recommend, go for high protein diet, like falafel, besan chilla and all, high fat diet like cheese and all, less carb and high protein milk, nuts, apple, daals and you can make cheela and daal dosa and all. Just less carbs and high protein diet… peanuts and nuts are great too.. I am vegetarian so I tried all this, you eat non veg so you have more options. :) Low glycemic index food mostly recommended. *VERY IMP: walk for atleast 10 minutes after ALL THE MEALS* you will see hugh difference in your sugar levels.. Most difficult is to control morning sugar levels-go for high fat and protein diet at night and also evening walk/workout helps in controlling morning numbers. Also, try to eat every 2 hours.. This was just my experience, In case you read please consult your doctor. :)
Yes it happens. I also developed the gestational diabetes during my 2nd pregnancy. Just take care of what you eat and you will be fine In Sha Allah. And yes that challenge test is a real challenge I almost fainted before giving the third blood sample.
It’s called GTT (Glucose Tolerance Test) and not Gestational Challenge Test. The test is usually used to test for diabetes, insulin resistance, impaired beta cell function and sometimes reactive hypoglycemia and acromegaly, or rarer disorders of carbohydrate metabolism.
Hey dipika, its very very normal to have the test go positive.. but yes for the nest round of test try to just eat high protein like meat type of food before few days as well so that whatever carb u eat will cut it down and dont eat anything carby few days before and especially no sugar. Your gonna do great ❤
Dear Dipiki ,gestation diabetes is very common these days.Dont worry and take care of your diet . I was diagnosed with it for my 2 pregnancies. In sha Alla tala it will go away after delivery..

It happens dipi during pregnancy have heard many women getting diabetes but do take care and follow doctor's advice. Not to worry you and baby will be fine excited to see your new home take care lots of love to you both 😘😘😘🥰🥰🥰🥰
Faiza medumb knows that she will be trolled for eating junk but still telling PPL about her GD shows she is making up some script . Never showed any test before so why now?? She is a compulsive liar . PPL r already suspecting that she is faking everything
Previously it was called GTT test (glucose tolerance test) which shows how your body reacts to concentrated sugar at a certain intervals during pregnancy but belive me till date my Hba1c is normal but do pay attention on your diet with GI index it's been 33 year so pls trust me don't panic😍❤️
It is very normal it was also with me in the pregnancy. I have make ots chapati ( no aata, no maida, no rice, no carbs) fruit only eat apple, I have follow very strict diet in my pregnancy.
