I changed my distributor and plugs and it went from complete no start to working for week and then back to crank but no start both times where it did not start were when the engine was warm and after a short run to the grocery store or bank.. I noticed also right ater I opened the hood and after I shut it.. actually slammed it.. then it would start.. Then I also noticed that I did not see the check engine light cycle on and off from when I keyed it up from the completely off position.. No codes. Just open and shut door real hard or open and shut hood real hard to get it to latch fully and it starts up (for now).. Is it a relay? I heard if you can find the pgm/efi relay and tap on it and then if it starts.. chances are its a bad relay.. also if you crack the banjo bolt on the fuel filter and crank it and if fuel comes out... it will show that your fuel is pumping... you actually should put a gauge and proper adapter there to get a pressure reading... but i dont think that its the fuel pump yet cause otherwise when it starts.. it runs and drives fine.
