I feel like a kid/preteen/teenager again! I grew up with the books and the movies. When Harry was 11 in the movie so was I. I would daydream of being a character on the film, then I heard/read rumors that they wanted to keep the cast from U.K... I still have a "Time" magazine introducing the first Harry's Potter's film! I will never grow out of Harry Potter, I refuse to. I'm just sad to see the saga end. I saw each of them in theaters and I've owned all of them at one point on VHS and DVD but due to moving alot, I can only find the prisoner of Azkaban on vhs. I want to go to Diagon Alley sooooooo bad!!! I'm turning 23 in August and feel like I wouldn't be able to go til I'm in my 30's :(
I know exactly how you feel!! You never grow out of Harry Potter if you've experienced its magic as a child/teeanger, and that's a wonderful thing even though it breaks my heart as well knowing it's over. I'm keeping everything of Harry Potter I've collected over the years and it reminds me of how I pretended being a Hogwarts student myself, and this can't be taken away from us Potterheads, ever :) The magic will always be there!! (I'm 20 and I so hope I'll be able to go there and experience some of this magic in reality before I'm in my late 20s...!)
Opps it hit enter before I finished lol. but I wanna see what happens after the big drama of voldemort. I wanna see the little pranks and them growing up. I'm not ready to let go of the Harry's Potter's series. I know they have all those books but I want the series of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna, Neville etc
Some of the actors have probably just moved on from Harry Potter. Not saying that they have just forgot about it. They're just busy right now. Once in a while they will think back to when they were filming it. Just wait till the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Hollywood opens. They should bring back every single cast member and let the memories flow.
Oh my goodness. I want to go there SO BADLY. It's what I always wished for - a way to enter JKR's magical world. It may be just a theme park, but I'm crying just at the thought of being on the Hogwarts Express, walking down Diagon Alley, and, most of all, seeing Hogwarts castle--it's a dream come true!! Why does it have to be in the US? It'll be the journey of my life going there.. and it'll be so worth it! I can't wait for the day when I'll be able to finally visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter... It might even be better than the Leavesden Studios and that was the most amazing experience already, and so very emotional. There will never be anything like the Harry Potter universe and I'm so glad I could grow up with its magic!
Luis Fernando Yepes Álvarez Agreed!! I live in Germany, so I'd have to cross the big pond to get there... :( How long would it take to fly to Florida from Colombia? :)
AurorasTears I know how you feel :( I went to America when I was younger to visit relatives (three years before the park came out) and I know I can never go back because its too expensive and my parents dont think Harry Potter is a legitimate enogh reason to spend that much money. They said even if we did have a reason that the ticket was far too expensive to afford and we would have no plae to stay anyways. Im from the Philippines and my heart breaks with you :(((((((
Ida Sanchez Oh I'm so sorry for you! :( Too bad you couldn't visit your relatives when the park was already there! BUT even if your parents are now saying that it's too expensive, you'll maybe have the opportunity to go there when you're older! My parents always said it was too expensive to go to London, so when I was 19 and had worked a little after school and saved money, I just flew there and visited the Leavesden studios with a good friend of mine. It was SO worth it, even though it was expensive as well with the flight and hotel and so on. Orlando would of course be even more expensive, but I'm very optimistic I'll go there one day when I've gained enough money and find someone to accompany me. You still have a lot of time, the park will definitely be there for a while (and maybe they'll add even more to it so it's a good thing we haven't already been there and missed Diagon Alley for example!! ;) )
I was so happy when I went 3 days in a row this past weekend I cried when I saw the Wizarding world , yes I cried but only because I never thought I would make it there in my life.
This made me smile with so much pride!!! I will forever love Harry Potter. Thank you to J.K. Rowling and all the creative, amazing people who gave me the ability to imagine from a young age. Hope I will soon be able to visit this fantastic magical world in real life.
I am so happy with this so much~ but I am really expecting for the lead cast of Harry Potter joining this opening. :'( Daniel, Emma and Rupert. Sadly they're not here. Still I'd love what theyve done. This really made me go back reminisce my day being a fan girl of HARRY POTTER.
You can always count arm at Tom felt in even when hes busy he always goes to the Harry Potter interviews or 2 like explore any Harry Potter sets he so punctual
what i have noticed is that the tone of the Voices of the Phelps twins are different,James' is a bit Lighter and more of a Young adult while Oliver's which is more Deeper and Manly that's how i was able to tell them apart even in the films that carried through as well maybe that's why i was somewhat able to tell the difference between Fred and George.
I turned 11 this year and they are making Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! And my sister pranked me and put a letter for enroling me in Hogwarts. My parents probably won't let me be in a movie and i probably wont even get in!
Wonder what they'll do next? A big building looking exactly like Hogwarts where you can go to the library and get real wizard books and eat real food in the great hall and stuff like that!?!?!? If so, that would really be awesome!!!!!!!!!
Omg. Am i the only pottah head that noticed fred weasly and george weasley are standing the same way (in litterally most of the scenes) that james and oliver phelps are standing on the red carpet. Yes that pottah was intended.
