It wouldn't be a CoinGeek video without Ben sounding like a kid giving an oral book report. Love ya man but seriously, you CAN do more than one take lol
That's a boss awesome cool gadget right there. I want one just for the sake of history. I can't believe you flipped the bird. I thought this was a rated G channel. I've never seen a worn-out gold coin before. I thought only silver coins were slicks.
So cool af!! Ben good sir.. I have never re watched so many videos.. yt, movies or otherwise; as I have on your channel. Cant wait till I get to visit you and the crew one day. Cheers and thanks for all yall do
Ben, I saw a couple problems with how you were using the detector. 1) When checking the weight, you have to have the coin firmly against the bottom edge. I saw daylight when you were balance testing. 2) I could see thin alignment marks/lines on the dial, usually in the middle of the digits for the coin value. You need to put that line EXACTLY against the edge there on the upper piece of metal. You weren't aligning that mark properly, hence less precise results than this device is clearly capable of giving. Otherwise super cool! Now what's the story behind that 1855-S Good condition gold piece?
BTCG question not so much about authenticity but a question about conservation if that’s a word have you done any videos or anybody here have any recommendations to which of the coin trading services provides the best conservation or renovation on Coins?
