I would say it is the emcees technique that's crap not the mics, eyes first was clear as day, dialect had no mic technique at all, he obviously needs shown how to hold it. Too many emcees think that holding the mic a certain way makes them look better.

aint nothing to do with how they're holding the mic.. this is how people sound when they have to perform at grime tempo for a long period of time over a beat. Years ago I used to do radio every week and at the end of the set your voice is shanked coz you have to strain a bit to overpower the beat. Thats whats happened to eyez where as Dialects voice lacks clarity anyway, hard to catch every word. Good clash though. Eyez edged it.

Eddie Oliver Eddie Oliver is right. If you know anything about live performance you are taught to NOT hold the mic the way Dialect is holding the mic. It makes you sound muffled. DO NOT cover the head of the mic with your hand. Mics are designed that way for a reason. Live performance 101. You will not see any successful artist doing what Dialect is doing.
