Personal Perspective is so interesting 🧐 I saw Rach puzzling with Jordi and thought how did she win so many races over many seasons and still hasn’t figured out her preferred riding style. I guess that’s the difference between knowing you have a knife and asking how to turn it into a scalpel.

@@leeghathaway I feel like Jor's role is equal parts shrink and tech. I know I think better when I talk through my thought process with another person. Plus, she's on an experimental damper here, so she needs his input to know what its doing. I imagine running prototype parts always has its drawbacks on race day

Thats the simple stuff ticked off quickly. With suspension you have two main variables (front and rear) that subdivide into 5 more each, which all cross-influence one another and getting them all aligned is the tricky stuff. Add in the often overlooked cockpit height and you got yourself a puzzle to sove.

RB athletes have access to RB cans containing nothing but water. Highly doubtful she's drinking actual redbull in that can. I'm guessing her contract involves drinking from a RB can whenever she drinks. Considering all the perks RB athletes have (training facilities, health/rehab support, salary, etc.) it seems like a small price to pay. Even though she's featured on this FOX video, she wasn't there for a media/PR purpose. She was there to get some advice on her suspension setup to win races. Being in this video was probably the last thing on her mind for the day. I doubt she took the time to run out and grab a RB can for this video, she was probably juggling 20 different tasks while prepping for her next run, one of those being to drink water from a RB can.
