If Brent Marks doesn't get a top 5 in owners points, as of now he fell to 6th, then he choked as bad as the Phillies did in 2024 and what a choke by the Phillies in the playoffs. It must be a PA thing, unfortunately, that us PA fans have to live with unfortunately. PA drivers in these tour series hasn't been that good. Logan Schuchart is respectable with 4 top 5s in the final points for the WOO series with 1 of those 2nd in the points in the Covid year 2020 but he seems to be falling apart unfortunately when it comes to being a consistent top 5 in points for WOO touring in recent years. The best series driver from PA in history is Stevie Smith with his best 2nd overall to Steve Kinser in 1992 with Stevie Smith having a total of 8 top 5s in WOO final points with 4 of those 8 being in the top 3 in final points with his best 2nd in 1992. Doesn't look like we will ever see another PA tour driver as good as Stevie Smith. Logan Schuchart looked promising for awhile but not anymore and Brent Marks doesn't look like it either. Anthony Macri some might say but I see Anthony Macri no better than Brent Marks at a tour series IMO with both Brent Marks and Anthony Macri being better as pick and choose more than touring series. Brent Marks had great success in the last 3 seasons as a pick and choose driver with his main concentration in PA, especially in 2022. Anthony Macri did great as well in 2022 and this year with that same format as well and great in 2023 up until PA Speedweeks of 2023. So it looks like Stevie Smith will always be king of the PA drivers when it comes to a cross country touring series I guess. Stevie Smith was a good WOO tour driver, and Logan Schuchart respectable but everyone else including Brent Marks and Jacob Allen just ok at best for touring series.
Everyone is different i like both. Most of my friends all like the Late Models more then the Sprint Cars. I like the Late Models myself I just enjoy the Sprints more. But I tend to go to more Late model races since that's what all my friends want to go watch lol and I live in PA so there are tracks all over.
