"Although I hit a pound of herbs I'm still nice with the verbs." Classic boom-bap at it's finest! DITC is still slept on imo.. I played this LP constantly back in the day, and will break out it, or digg in the crates so to speak, for it now to bump!
Yeah, they all used to hang out together. All of them so you're always going to see Fat Joe, Lord FInesse, Grand Puba, Nice N Smooth, Diamond D, and Brand Nubians in each others videos. Digging in the Crates crew and their outside friend rap artists.
"Hip-hop was special back then!!!" Amen to that. I thank God for allowing me to be a part of that generation. The Low end theory album is hip hop history in itself!
Damm I been looking for this for years! Found it!! Love itt. I love Kurious. Real hip hop Kurious, Guru / Gangstarr, Sadat X, Diamond D, Beatnuts, Rakim, Doom, Fat Joe, etc. LONG LIVE 90'S HIP HOP'ERS!!
everyone needs to stop complaining how hip hop is gone...For those that appreciate it, it's all right here! And better still, like minded folks can connect and enjoy together! no homo...
i've been digging this since i heard the dirty version when the album came out. there's a couple of heads in the video, as a nice bonus to a song that i like.
DiomondD is great! This album is one of the best ever! Stunts, Blunts, and Hip-Hop - whaaaaaat!!! Incredible! A producer whos better than 99.9% of these fake-ass rappers out today, so is Pete Rock!
Gota classic line from a sadat verse in a song that includes a line from diamond (Brothers can't believe how the skills have gotten) on a classic show and ag song(next level)
yo back then it was all about rocking nuttin but LO when I say LO i mean POLO only up north nigga know this good memories this joint brings back fat shout to D.T.I.C and the whole B.X. stand up
@KYS1978 Man I busted out laughing when I read the line '..damn!!the days when u could flash guns in videos. More classic shit...' Hahahahahaha, thats the truth!
I'll try to find a copy of it and post.. I edited this VIDEO online for the producers at RG Video.. They were very skeptical of my abilities but when I told them I'd directed an Africa Bambaata clip, they chilled.
represent!! I still love the bronx.got good memories fr. there. stay up..check out "watch the sound" I was in that video, I used to live in 215 alexander. fat joe /diamond,puba did that video all in the staircases & in front of the building.I was Hyped at that time as a shortie!!
