Debrief: In todays video we focus on steep turns. As well as my first time talking to ATC. I had a rough landing at the end, but we got to see a C-17 in flight!
Note: All maneuvers are done in accordance to FAA regulations and our own CLASS cheklist. However, for editing purposes, each CLASS is removed from the video. Thank you for understanding!

Not a pilot, but aren’t you supposed to check airspace before you start a turn?

That is correct! It’s part of our CLASS checklist. C=Clear the area. L=Landing sites available. A=Altitude correct for maneuver. S=Speed correct for maneuver. S=Set configuration set. We do it for every maneuver. However, for time’s sake, I simply edit it out and get straight to the point for each maneuver.
