There are many hikes on Oahu, but perhaps the most popular is the hike to the top of Diamond Head crater just outside Waikiki. The trail is well maintained and isn’t TOO difficult, or is it? Admission costs $5 per vehicle or $1 if you walk in.

It isn't hard, but if you are like and are a senior citizen , overweight, and out of shape you may have to climb at a slower pace. The hardest part for me was the stairs. The view is worth it when you get to the top. It is breathtaking.

Thank you for this video!!! My boyfriend and i are going to Waikiki in a couple of weeks and planning on hiking Diamond Head - I’ve been super anxious about it because I’m in really bad shape, but I think I’ll be fine!! Looks awesome!

You should have taken it in the mid 1970s.Instead of being outdoors, you had to go through two sections of tunnels, One was pitch black. Then you crawled out onto a concrete platform.
