This is a Crown and Diamond Knot. It is also in Ashley's Book of Knots as #708. As you are preparing to issue a new video with single strands on it you may want to consider researching it and renaming the video(s). As a member of IGKT I feel obliged to prevent new tyers from being confused. The 4 or more stranded Diamond knot is also not a Diamond knot but a Footrope knot (ABOK #696). That mistake probably goes back to J.D. Lenzen who showed it under the name Diamond knot. Well, mistakes can happen but we don't need to perpetuate them. I remember being thoroughly confused by the diamond/Footrope knot theme, the more so as the 2-stranded lookalike of the Footrope knot is really called Diamond knot or Lanyard knot. The real Diamond knot is ABOK #693.

You should use a cord of 8 meters. You can use our Matchmaker tool, which includes a length calculator. :) matchmaker.paracord.eu/

Hi! Yes, it is! You can use the exact same steps as in this tutorial. You'll only add more cords and more of the same steps. 🤩

That is because you have not yet mastered the technique. You really have to practise this well and then you will notice that you suddenly get the hang of it. You can slow down the video using the settings, maybe that will help you? Thanks for watching!
