Come along as I take my Hobie Outback kayak to Diamond Lake to fish for German Brown and Tiger Trout. These predatory trout were put in the lake to help control tui chub and keep Oregon's premiere lake, Diamond Lake, the Gem of lakes for Oregon. A big part of the fun for me is trying different lures and experimenting with different speeds, depths, and troll angles to entice these fish to bite. I bring Rudy along which is always a handful, but he is also a good companion both on and off the water. Enjoy the video and leave me a comment below. Tight Lines.

Met you as you were pulling out Sunday and came up Wednesday and caught browns, rainbows and did get a couple tigers. Thanks for the intel you shared with me on the boat ramp.

yes diamond lake is the best. i am going up there in three weeks for a four day fishing trip. i have been going there for many years. great video.

When I was growing up my family would go to Diamond Lake and then pop over to Crater Lake every year around July the 4th. Lots of memories. R.I.P. Dad.

Headed up in the morning. I’m expecting a skiff of snow. I’ve got to check a tiger trout off my list. I’ve got a glide bait tied on and a couple different swimbaits as well.

It had been for me too. I got hooked on Kokanee so just rainbows and power bait didn’t have the same draw but now with some predator trout that changes up the game. Thanks for the comment. Tight lines.
