A diamond mine on a river in Africa, specifically in Sierra Leone, made a huge impression on me. Diamond hunters use simple methods, including a garden hose, to dive up to 9 meters. All this to collect gravel from the bottom of the river, where diamonds and gold are hidden. The work is extremely dangerous and demanding. As you can see, only young men are seekers. Why? Because spending 4 hours underwater requires excellent physical condition. Making this material was difficult and demanding. I was the first "white" on this part of the river, in this mine. The surprise of the locals was enormous.
