I adopted your method of the photo boxes to store spare diamonds. A slight modification, but mostly the same. Thank you so much for the idea. Game changer.
I have adopted your storage method as well. When i put my piece of paper in the baggie for support, I put my sticker label on the piece of paper instead of the bag so that I can easily reuse my baggies. Love your channel!!!😊😊😊
I put some bits of dryer sheet on the bottom of my container under the tubs. It tends to help with the static in these containers. I find I don't have to add dryer sheet to all the individual tubs this way.
I do love the dekitting videos. I am shocked at some of the colors that have the same dmc code, but are clearly a different color. That would make me insane. I would need to keep them separate or try to find a color they more closely matched. But I do love your method of storing them. I was very confused about the HAED spares, but now I know you need to provide your own drills for those. I'm not sure I could ever tackle something like that, but you go girl!!!
I love your de kitting videos gave me ideas how to do mine so just started keeping them x let me no if there anything I can help with for your heaven and earth P.s I'm from the uk
I found your channel recently, and I love it! I’m a British DP addict living in the U.S. and it’s a wonderful change to hear a British accent talking about my passion!
After watching a previous video of your spare storage, I liked your method best since it was economical. Right now I am just using an old index card box, but it is getting full so I will probably get a photo box like you when the craft stores open up again. I actually did put some cut up index card into all my bags to make them stand-up since I did not do the card dividers for each DMC you did. I am glad someone else thought of doing the same thing! Thank you for your great videos.
I have a zippered case that has some fatter bottles that are also a soft plastic and I don't know if it's those bottles or the Diamond Art Club diamonds I use only in that case (so I don't have to bag up more than fits in the smaller bottles) causing the static, but I've noticed the static there is the worst I've experienced. So now I just keep a small piece of dryer sheet in every container and haven't had that issue since. Sounds like you could stand to keep a sheet to cut down as needed in your accessories bag. It works wonders! Still need to get myself a funnel, however. :)
I work from a drafting table that has 3 square drawers on the right side. I set the drawers up like your photo boxes. I have the bottom drawer for rounds (because I don't do many round ones), and I have 2 drawers for squares. Thank you so much for the wonderful idea!! 😗😗😗
One yrs ago, I either missed it or hadn't found you yet 😊 You are mush more organised and relaxed in your videos now days 😄 You said in this one "there only so much you guys want to see" I guess you realise we want to see EVERYTHING now 🤣👍💚
I'm very new at all this, so I REALLY APPRECIATE you showing what you do with all your little bags here and there of extra drills you keep from all your diamond painting projects! I just KNEW there had to be a system other than throwing all the extra little bags into one Ziplock bags and then saving all these various sizes of collections of bags! BRAVO, Rebecca! I LOVE watching the many hours of long videos, too! It relaxes me SO much!
You are so welcome! I'm so happy that it was helpful for you. After all, that is one of the reasons I do these videos. That and to keep people company. 💕
I'm also from the UK 🇬🇧 . I'm a newbie to diamond painting and have only completed five paintings out of my seven I have in total. I was wondering wot to do with all the drills from my finished paintings and I found your RU-vid channel the other day and love watching how you kit down yours and if you don't mind I would like to try your method of storing left over drills. Can't wait for the craft shop's to open up to get everything I will need to start. Just one question if it's ok I've noticed that you are saving some separate into a box for heaven and earth my I ask wot is heaven and earth? Thanks again. Kerry x
Sorry one more question I'm working on my sixth painting now and have noticed that this one is the only one that has the DMC number on the bags and painting all the other ones are just numbered 123 or letters or symbols. Is it worth keeping them and getting a DMC colour chart to find out what the colour number is or just throw them. Thanks again. Kerry x
Mine are currently all in separate baggies in a tub. I think I’ll try and match them up in the future. It will be on video when I do so you’ll know how it goes.....
