Yes! An over flow box is the perfect answer.

That was epic length. At first, I didn't think I liked the idea of an overflow container. After all, it is another box and you could have just flowed over into a pretty box. But, after you were working on it, I thought it was a great place for all those colors you get an enormous amount of and take up too many baggies. The tin is pretty too...lol. I'm all caught up now. Thank you so much for sharing!

Great idea the overflow box, I still have get storage for my special’s they are stored at the end of the rounds and getting very full. Great video

I use the Baseball card boxes, so far so good

I use leftover drills and dont open new packs unless needed, and keep new packs in a overflow box that way if friends or family need any I can just give them a new pack. And it keeps opened drills more manageable for me.

You could try using the thicker bags for your squares to make them more compact.

How do you remove the labels after you are done the diamond painting ? Do you reuse it?

Do you ever use open drills instead of opening packs. For example use 310's and not open new packs

What are the different sized bags are you using

Joan...I just think it's time to face the cruel reality that you're going to have to do more crown jewel canvases or cross stitch/blank canvas projects. Such a shame...more diamond painting...not!! Sounds like a good excuse to treat yourself, to me. I barely filled out 2 boxes (pre-AB buying) until I moved to the thicker bags since they do hold a bit less and by the time I reached that point, I was already looking at doing some projects with my spares because I felt like I had a lot...which happened to coincide with the changed pricing structure for crown jewel canvases (no more upcharges for things like poured glue). I only have 5 boxes of spares because half of them are just my overflow AB's (wish I were joking) and those ones I plan to move to a baseball card box and bigger bags (the 3x3 bags were a bit too wide and I'm really anal about needing things to be uniform so I'll be buying 2.5x3 bags eventually, I just haven't gotten around to it, yet). Yes, those boxes are ugly and the lids make it worse because they're produced flat/made to fold together which makes the lids extra bulky, but I think for a case of overflowing extras, they'll work really perfectly.. I have some Ikea Kallax units and some of the shelving inserts and plan to modify one to make it have 3 shelves (the default options are 2 shelves or 5 shelves) by measuring 1/3 and 2/3 and drilling new holes so then I can keep the boxes without a lid and don't have to worry about crushing them...problem is, my current shelving unit is not a kallax as they don't make 2x3 versions and that's what I use in my diamond painting corner. I think I'm going to steal my daughter's 2x2 and put the Target 2x3 into her room when we're done with our upcoming renovations since 2 of the cubes in mine are books. The Target cubbies are larger and the kallax inserts don't fit. I'm also thinking of rearranging my spares and keeping my rounds separate, too...but I'm not sure if I want to use a photo box for them or just use a row in the baseball card box because I have so few of them. Some of my very first projects were rounds and one DAC I did was round because I liked the image, it was cheap and round was the only option for it, so I definitely have some...but let's just say it would be a severely wasted effort if I made dividers for every color if/when I split them from my squares. Most of my recent rounds have been acquired through things like diamond painting stickers or projects I've gotten for my kids (the keychains make great tree ornaments).
