I think the summer and the horrendous heat is why I like playing Skyrim this time of year. Wandering around in the ice and snow seems to help distract me from my least favorite season of the year. :)

I wonder if the whole Christmas in July thing came about so we can think about colder weather while in the heat. The current diamond painting I'm doing has snow. Thanks!

VERY interesting info about the square/round size comparison. I thought the longer time had more to do with lining up the drills ... but that might be the OCD perfectionist in me 😛

I do think it takes longer to line up the squares but I think the larger quantity plays a big part too. Happy Diamond Painting!

I had just started kitting up my biggest Diamond Painting, DAC'S Christmas Morning when your video came on so we kind of kitted up together (although you're done & I still have half to go haha). I am also using the same storage container you used. I only put 1 bag in & my extras I put in the net thingy & when I need it, I just refill the bottle. Thanks for the video!

ME TOO!!!! Seeing the canvas texture on the scanned legend is a TOTAL frustration for me too!! I recently had a legend where the symbol was drowned out by the background color and adjusting the contrast/brightness on the scanned photo made the texture MORE obvious and didn't help with the dark background 😠🤬

Usually seeing the canvas texture in the scan also means the drill field will not be the clearest either.

I ordered that deer (or elk) one the moment I received the email of Craft-Ease offering it as a diamond painting (loved it!!), but haven't gotten to it yet, though it's close to the top of my list. I haven't really seen anyone else talking about it so I'm glad to see it here! I saw your other video that showed your completed one of the trees and houses and I'm definitely interested in getting one from that artist next time I put in a Craft-Ease order. But since I have three I haven't started and one I'm only about 1/5 completed (the elephants), I'm trying to ration myself until I make more progress. :)

I always have to ration myself when buying more since I already have so many diamond paintings, but the buying is part of the addiction!

Hi Joan! Question time! So how many paintings do you have kitted up and ready to go? How do you choose which to do next? Are you going to do Drills & Chills? I haven't found anything that I like for Halloween😐. DIYMoonshop has a couple that are ok, but I am not 'in love' with enough to pay such a high price. I am naturally a very vocal person and have had so many speaking engagements I know when to project my voice if needed. I also had to nip my Texas Twang in the bud. But I still know how to lay it on thick when needed! Lol

Thanks for the questions! It is something to talk about in a future kit up. I am going to unofficially do Drills & Chills (i.e. not sign up). I figure any of the fall diamond paintings I have can qualify. I still haven't started my Chuck Pinson I kitted up a couple of weeks ago, so maybe I'll just do that for Drills and Chills. I was asked before what my accent was and I didn't really know...maybe California if California has an accent.

Maybe? I actually haven't started it yet and it will depend on what I have. I'll probably put black ABs in the antlers. We'll see what else. Happy diamond painting!
