You could have made this a multi-part video series. Remarkably there is an audience for long videos since a lot people watch these videos while diamond painting. I think with that many colors I would have kitted up in several of the 56 grid containers since most wouldn't have that many drills. It is pretty easy to drill directly from those containers too since you'll probably need only a few drills of a color in each section. Glad I never bought the tic tac boxes. I didn't think it would be easy pour drills into it. I think you're going to need to buy more storage unless you are only going to work on this project. Good luck with project!

I thought about making it multi-part but wasn't sure of the interest for that. I'll keep it mind if I do another one. I made do with the storage I had, but I am definitely going to be buying more - this is the first time I've had more than one painting on the go at a time, especially one this large. I saw your bottle storage video yesterday and I definitely need some of those!

I’m doing a 275 colour DPD image. I’ve put mine in categories like triangles/squares/dots/household items/ etc. My husband suggested putting them in DMC order but I didn’t know HOW I would find them! I had so much static in my bags! I couldn’t get them Out of the bags! My kitting up took me weeks 😢

Most helpful, so thank for all the time and thought that went into editing!! One question..interested to know whether you will organize into categories or colors..or locate by DMC/Symbol? I currently have them in DMC order, because that’s what I usually do. I’ve gotten suggestions about putting them in color or symbol order, but I haven’t done it yet. I think sorting by color probably makes the most sense, but I’m not sure yet, because I know some of the symbols are similar (think arrows pointing different directions), but they are different colors, so. I don’t know - for now, I’m leaving them in DMC order. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I would buy more round bottle storage or harbour freight the tic tac boxes are horrible to work out please don’t do a time lapse I love watching kitting up videos

I will keep that in mind for next time I kit up! I do have some Harbor Freight storage, but for the small amount of drills of each color, I didn’t think they were the best choice. I’ve got my eye on some larger bottle storage cases for next time. Thanks for watching!
