When I was on Amazon I decided to browse for diamond painting accessories to see if I could find something different.
I found this ergonomic diamond painting pen that came with various metal tips and a lot of pink wax.
The colour choice was grey or pink. The grey looked pretty boring so I went for the pink option.
I know that, due to issues with their hands, quite a few diamond painters have problems using the standard diamond painting pens that come with the kits.
Some people look for alternative, thicker pens that they find more comfortable.
This pen takes a completely different route and is designed to take away the usual strain on your hand when you hold a normal pen for any length of time.
I don't have issues with my hands, yet, but I could see how this design could make things easier for those who do.

G’day Jim I bought an ergonomic pen similar to yours from TEMU only the one I have you can’t replace the tips. My friend Anna who got me into DP bought one from TEMU which looks like yours but I don’t think there was any tips. She tried putting the wax in the hole but it was a waste of money. I have lent her mine to try it. She actually still uses the pen she got with her first DP. I found my pen was very comfortable to use. I don’t have problems with my hands I got it as a novelty. It was very handy for me when I am using a magnifying glass as it’s only small and doesn’t get in the way. I would definitely recommend the ergonomic pens. The one I got from TEMU is a bit prettier. It also maybe be plastic. The pen does what it is designed too. Cheers M 🎉

Interesting. I’ve developed arthritis in the thumb of my dominant hand and am thinking of trying this. The thought of not being able to dp kinda makes me sad so I hope something like this helps. Thanks for demonstrating.

I have sometimes thought how that kind of pen would feel, but since I don't really need one, I have never bothered to buy one. But I am still curious about it, so maybe someday I will buy one to try 😊

I brought one myself, but the one I brought doesn't come with the rubber bands, what should I do about that?

Do the shafts of the tips have indented rings where the rubber bands should go? If not, they don’t need them. If the tip is loose, try wrapping masking tape or washi tape around the shaft so it gives a tight fit. If they have the indents, contact the company and ask them if there should have been rubber rings with the pen. 🙂

Hi, I tried switching to a standard plastic/brass tip. It doesn’t quite push all the way in but it seemed solid enough. But I think the biggest problem is that you’d have to hold the pen pretty much straight up and down to place the drills and that doesn’t feel anywhere near as comfortable as the angled tip. @@DiamondPaintingJim Thank's! It's good to know there's the option to use either tip. I'm just on the fence about the gooseneck tip. Never used one & seems awkward.

@@camplife7698 I’d never used a gooseneck tip until I tried this pen. It actually felt fine because of the angle you hold the pen. I don’t think you’d have any problems using it.
