Hi Teeda, Pat here, having lived in south Florida for 30 years and now live in Tennessee, I can tell you your prayers and the DP community's prayers and thoughts mean soooo much, so just keep those going up to then,so appreciated...Blessings Pat

So awesome of you to keep Florida in your thoughts. I live in Kissimmee FL and it was an anxious week leading up to the storm. The wind was super scary and we feel blessed that we didn't lose power until about 5 am. It was back on at 11 this morning. We aren't strangers to storms of course so we have a couple generators to power our Frigdes and deep freeze. I didn't even have to fire up the propane stove to cook lunch before the power was back on. After inspecting we found one roof tile on the lawn but I think it wasn't ours because we can't see any spots on the roof missing tiles. Glad it's over for us at least. The flood and tornado victims have a long road ahead of them though. Sending them all good thoughts and prayers.

I feel like the people who have been involved over the past few weeks would want you to go on and try to be happy. You are making people happy. You are doing as much as you can and they wouldn't want you in harms way. I don't want to diagnose you in any way but it sounds like ptsd. A bad thing happened. Your brain remembers that. And it'd reliving it. That's normal. Happy Birthday to your father. He really meant something to you and always will 🖤🖤 My grandpa would have been 106 this yr. Maybe I can ask him to find your PA and they have can a chat or 2 🖤🖤

Hi Teeda. No worries about showing my progress. I completely understand you have other things going on. I know what you mean about the DAC square drills. They are great. And to think, I used to be so afraid of squares, lol. They do take a little more time, but I am ok with that. Take care!😊

I have two sons that live in Florida. They live in Titusville on the east coast of Florida. They are both save with power and no damage. Just a lot of rain and gust of wind. So I will continue to pray for Hurricane Helene and Milton. On a lighter note, love your videos. One of the first thing in the morning I check to see if you have any new videos. It makes me feel happy and that is not a bad thing to start your day.

I think those, such as yourself, that have went through something tragic, truly feel the most empathy, of these tragic situations. The rest of us can look at these situations and just shake our heads, because we just can’t imagine the damage and everything. I had a cousin that escaped Paradise California, with flames at their backs. So her situation was similar to yours maybe. I’ve not had to live through floods or hurricanes. Mine would come in the form of tornadoes, and I hope I never experience it. My closest situation was 9/11. 13 months prior to that, I was at the top of one those twin towers, so at the time, I could just image, and see in my minds eye, what it must have been like. Thankfully, with time, hopefully those awful memories will dull, they did for me. Until one stands in the middle of it, we really don’t know. Hopefully the people there can stand tall and recover.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling in a good place. The best thing we can do for the people of Fla and NC is prayers. I can’t imagine such devastation. I’m lucky I live in a place where we don’t have to worry about disasters. Thank you for sharing with us and Have a great day

As far as crosscountry stitching some people start at the bottom right corner and do all the same color. And then go back to the bottom row and start the next colour and do all those. I do this but when i eun out of the drills, i too, pick another colour. I need variety

How long does it take you to do 40x80cm? I’m having problems, logging the pins with the wax puddy. I cleaned the pens with hand sanitizer and let them dry so that way he gets all the sticky stuff out of the pens I use multi placers the three and the six
