Diamond Painting Wip & Chat - Joy’s Putty - Mugi update - My worst Anxiety, be kind to yourself ♥️ 

Hi Kim, good evening from cloudy Southern California. Love your story about Mugi. My late sister Daisy and I got Herschel from the local shelter when he was four months old. We already had a three year old Cocker Spaniel at home. His name was Darwin Bon Jovi. Herschel thought Darwin was the greatest thing since chew toys. The trainer we got, came to our house. She said the puppy and dog are not being trained; we are. Herschel being part Dachshund was somewhat difficult to train. But after awhile Herschel started catching on. Darwin was already trained, but enjoyed going through the tunnel, jumping the HulaHoop. Herschel thought both were beneath him. Loved both dogs. Darwin was a master escape artist. He died in January of 2022. Herschel will be 11 in August. My caregiver got Herschel puppy food. I showed articles in Google about why adult dogs should not eat puppy food. Told me Google always lies. So I text the Veterinarian, and he said get Herschel off puppy food right now. So, I had my friend, who works at Walmart grocery store to get Herschel adult Kibble from Benefil. Mental illness is still misunderstood even today. I was deeply depressed when I was first diagnosed ADHD. I was on Prozac. Which put 50lbs on me. I was also addicted to Vicodin. I was also put on meds for Bipolar. I ended up using a walker. Two years ago I read everything I could on Bipolar. I am not Bipolar. I stopped all my antidepressants. I started feeling better. Now the walker is where I put my books and sweaters at. I talk to a new therapist on the phone. Also my lead therapist who thinks Diamond painting is silly and stupid. And my cool Psychiatrist. All I take is Strattera, Lexapro and Trazodone. Kim, you and I are both Lefthanded. Only 10% of the world population is Lefthanded, and we are in our right minds.

Kim as far as potty training…take Mugi out EVERY 3 hours regardless if she needs to go or not. It gets her set up to succeed and on a routine. She will slowly lengthen the time frame on her own. Puppies need that push if you will. Worked on every dog I’ve ever had. I even would wake them up every three hours to go pee. After about 4 months or so they won’t need that. Loves as always. ❤ Like my hubby says ‘don’t be hard on yourself, life is hard enough’.

Kim you worry and over think things, you can only do what you can I happen to think you are very caring, amazing young woman!😊❤😊

I can absolutely relate. We really do have to be kind to ourselves. We tell others to not beat themselves up for certain things… and then we are so hard on ourselves for the same things. That’s why it’s so important to have people around you who remind you and tell us it’s ok. 🥰You have big heart Kim and your family and friends are lucky to have you in their life ☺️

Hi Kim. Boy! You had a loaded video! Mugi. Books. Feelings of inadequacy. The battle against Suicide. Life. Life can be, and at times is, so hard. I am not sure why, maybe because Graduation is this time of year, I’m not sure, but it’s like it hit me in the gut how fast my grand kids have and are grown up! I had my third grand graduate this month. She’s 18. I’ve got two granddaughters older than her who will be 20 this year. TWENTY! No longer teens. My daughter that lives a few blocks up the ridge, has my last 3 grands, all boys. Her youngest just turned 9. Her oldest is almost 15. Drivers permit time! I swear the earth sped up 25 years ago!😂. Your life with Mugi sounds so much like my life with Pixieann. She’s SLOWLY doing better. We now have 2-3 good days where she goes to the door to ring her bell telling us she wants out. Then, it’s like she slaps us upside the head with her tail and says “just kidding” and does her business all over the the house. She does chew a lot too, On everything. I mean EVERYTHING. My hubby puts his socks in his boots. Nearly every day she gets them out then runs with them. Drops them all over the house. She chews on boxes, our older dog, Jacks, bed, A plastic corner of a cabinet, rugs, our feet, the bar that goes across the bottom of a chair. It IS like having a toddler! LOL. I’m glad you liked Joys putty. I love that it doesn’t stick to AB’s. It smells good too. I am going to order more as well. Although the ones I have from my first order is still pretty full. It seems to have a pretty long life on it while diamond painting. Blessings to you! ❤️

Hey Kim, I’ve seen the video you are talking about and it can definitely leave you thinking about some things. Just wanted to say that was a great reminder about practicing kindness to oneself. I think a lot of people can relate and I think it’s more about not wanting to let anyone down than being self-centred. I don’t think self-centred people spend too much time pondering their motives.

Thank you for a great video. Love the puppy update, and yes, I’m an over thinker and over worrier. I always joke my gravestone should say, “couldn’t make anyone happy”! But I know it’s not true. I think the guilt of needing to stay busy and being productive and helping everyone is just so real.

You are absolutely right...we do need to be easier on ourselves and others...You never know what someone is going through ..thanks for sharing the Instagram story...very relatable... I had a friend years ago who seemed like he was fine...out going and happy...years later he took his life at a young age....very heartbreaking...mental health is real...and hides in many ways...hugs

Ohhh dear…. I can relate to this! Always feel I haven’t done enough! For my sons…for the husband…sisters… friends…it really is exhausting. And I do try but….❤️

Hi Kim Love your stories about Mugi. Sounds like things are going well now. We all are so hard on ourselves in ref to our we doing enough for others and ourselves. I know I gave a friend her husband just passed but I wonder if I am being the best friend I can be. Am I putting other things first. I have to be honest with myself yes in some things yes. So I feel anxious about it. But I know I do the best I can. So it's true we must show us and give us grace. We do other people but why is it so hard for us. So know you are such kind person and I know you do the best as you can for your friends. So you also remember to give yourself grace. Love you Kim my friend.❤❤
