Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
1. Any Pokemon that faints must be permaboxed
2. No Encounters due to theme - progress with the game to get the next Pokémon
3. No items during battles (held items are fine)
4. No over-leveling (level cap is the next Gym Leader or the last Elite Four member once all Gyms are beaten)

The milotic survived the second thunderpunch because of its marvel scale ability it raises the pokemon defense when it has a status condition so when it was paralyzed by thunderpunch its defense when up

20:00 unfortunately the Pokémon you find in a tree is set as soon as you put honey on it, meaning the 1% odds are only rolled when you initially set up the tree, you can’t reset for it.

In Gen 4+, pokemon no longer faint from poison outside of battle (2nd best QoL change ever behind multiple repels). Great video!

4:36 poison doesn't kill in gen 4 overworld. it does deal damage over time, but if you aren't going to get into another fight before you can heal poison it doesn't matter. assuming you didn't know this though, correct play
