Missions are repetitive (sometimes) Physics (bike) sucks (even NPCs suck and that makes it easier) Very less customisation in the game (lacks car customs , haircut , etc.)
GTA 4 handle 3 different protagonist cooler, seeing how they pop up in each others stories is very awesome, it make the world building of gta 4 amazing.
The fact that All three protagonists follow their own storyline is so f*cking epic rather than being crybabies and fighting among themselves in GTA 5. You really get to know each character in depth and what makes them unique in their own ways , GTA 5 didn't have that character expansion.
GTA V is simple , V's story only impress to kids meanwhile IV's story deep , realistic , dark background and has different paths like C , H and diamond's story... even i did not include character's story. IVs world is living even minor side character has little memory for other side characters example one of Niko's GF Carmen Ortiz , Armando talking about her Luis and Henrique knew her in past etc.

Its not depressive its shows you criminal life hows bad , America's real face is different capitalism how hunt you down with dreams , how hard to live in foregin country while you dont have pass as an imingrant its only Niko side , GTA IV whole story splits the 3 different protagonist story also it has H , C and diamond story too you probably thinking GTA IV is just runs Niko's emotions around... juat go play Johnny klebitz and Luis Lopez's story and put together story parts you will find a lot of things are tied each others actions *BOOM* you wills be get flabbergast also if this story and characters isnt well written then what is your well written story game ? V has less story subjects... and i dont need help most of V's defenders are just kids because they dont care about realistic and good thinking story , they just get impressing by actions and some "badass " characters thats why Vs overrated , in my term if i rate the all GTAS V will be third place with 8.6 point after V , VC comes in 4th place with 8.4 point , gameplay story / adventures and other thing all combination 1st place for me S.A with 9.3 point. IV is second place with 9.1 point.

The way rockstar connected all the three characters in GTA 4 makes it very interesting to play from each other's perspective. Niko and Johnny on Niko's Cousin and Niko and Luis on Diamond. In the end they achieve nothing but just the experience of the reality of the American Dream but only expectation for Luis.
What it's like to speak alone blinded by nostalgia, that's not even a trio because the characters are not companions and also only Niko is the only one who can be rescued.
GTA Trios (GTA 4, 5, Trilogy) have 3 types of protagonists: A tough guy = Claude (silent killer), Johnny (tough biker), Trevor (sociopath) A veteran man = Tommy (mafia veteran), Niko (war veteran), Michael (heist veteran) A black youngster = CJ (Afro-American underboss gangster), Luis (Dominican bouncer), Franklin (Afro-American hustler).

Explanation:so Luis and Tony and Evan went to the docks to make a deal with the diamonds then Johnny and his bikers went to get the diamonds from Evan because Evan has the diamonds so Johnny and clay and terry went after Evan and the other bikers went after Luis when Johnny killed Evan he picked up the diamonds and put them in the trash because ray boccino told him to then after that Johnny was done then Ray told niko to get the diamonds from the trash where Johnny put them then after niko and the trash teammates picked up the diamonds the Anncelotis pulled up to get the diamonds but the Anncelotis lost niko and the trash team after that niko reach the destination the trash team talked to him and niko was done after that Johnny and niko went to the museum to make another deal with the diamonds but Luis come up and killed mori in the back then Johnny and niko and Issac ran from Luis because they know there getting attacked from Luis then Luis jumped down to get Isaac then Luis got the diamonds back then escaped from the roof but the LCPD was there to attack Luis but Luis went back in the helicopter and killed the LCPD choppers then go to the helipad and he was done but niko and Johnny was trying to get out of the museum but there was so many people attacking them then went outside to kill the remaining people that are attacking them but some of the people that attacked niko and Johnny ran from niko and Johnny so Johnny and niko ran after the people that attacked them then after they killed then Johnny went to give the money to jimmy fitzgerald then niko called Ray boccino saying that Johnny has the cash but niko dosent know who has the diamonds but Luis had the diamonds so Ray was mad then Johnny called Ray after giving the money to Jim then Johnny in the call with Ray then Ray says niko called Ray and Ray told him that niko saying that Johnny has the money but Johnny was actually giving the money to Jim so when they are done talking Ray kidnapped jimmy because Ray finally knew who had the money so when Jim got kidnapped Jim message Johnny to meet him at rays restaurant so Johnny went there to meet Ray so when Johnny talked to Ray,Ray pulled out a gun at Johnny to tell him to walk downstairs wheee Jim was then Johnny saw that Jim is getting burned by ray’s buddy then Ray told him where’s the money if he dosent know Jim will die to death from the burning but Johnny said he dosent know then Ray hit Johnny in the face with the gun then Ray told him if he was deaf then said where’s his stuff one more time but Johnny still said I don’t know so Ray hit Johnny in the face again with the gun then Ray told his buddy to burn Jim but Ray and his buddy didn’t know he had a knife to break out of the rope then ray’s buddy tried to burn him again but Jim broke out with the knife before rays buddy burned but Jim clutched then Jim grabs rays buddys neck to tell Ray to put down the gun but Ray said no but Jim said he will cut his buddy but Ray still said no so Johnny kicked the gun out of the hand then Jim picked up the gun then went to Jim to get cover then Jim cut rays buddys neck and Johnny and Jim escaped from the restaurant then Jim told Johnny to talk to Ashley but Johnny got a call from Ashley saying that ray is not a good friend anymore but Ashley was glad Johnny was alive but Ashley told Johnny was getting attacked from his hitmen so Johnny called terry or clay for back up then terry and clay told him to go to terry and him in the roof because Terry and clay was getting ambushed from them so Johnny went there as quick as he can before rays hitmens kill Johnny but Johnny finally got there then terry and clay told him to wait for them to come so Johnny and clay and terry attacked them then after they’re done attacking Johnny told terry and clay that he has to meet Ashley so Johnny went back on his bike then went to go meet Ashley then after talking to Ashley Luis gave the diamonds back to Tony prince and that is it pls like my comment
GTA 7 must have Trevor, CJ and Niko like we had Michael, Franklin and Trevor in GTA 5. Map must be San Andreas + Vice City combined. That game would be the beast for sure.
The only 2 who never did try and kill eachother is niko and Johnny and when u play has johnny during that diamond mission he does say he wouldn't wonna fck with niko
