the only advantage you can have for netherite is to increase armour durability and decrease knockback and no increase in defense

Ancient debris are found at the bottom of the nether where all the lava is, you only get about 1-3 each time you find nether scraps, it takes 4 nether scraps for just one ingot, and you need to already have diamond tools/armor to make netherite ones so I think the answer is pretty obvious. Edit: let alone the fact that you also need 4 gold for each ingot

I love your videos but armor toughness does help take less damage. Armor is to armor toughness and hunger is to saturation. It is a little complicated.

I commented this in your last video, but just to try to make sure you know, watch wattles video on the snapshot! Not to criticize but there is kind of a decent amount you missed, lol. Not a big deal because because I loved both of these videos and thx for doing them!! :) I really wanted to say that you don't get netherite from the blocks in the forest biomes (lol not even what they're called, wattles says), you get it way deep in the nether, like y-12, basically how you find diamonds in the overworld. The thing is, it doesn't come as netherite. Deep in the nether, you find a block called ancient debris. You get the block like an ore and smelt it in a furnace or blast furnace (they even said they recommend blast furnace cause it's faster, lol), then you get the nether scraps!! You combine 4 nether scraps with 4 gold ingots in any way you want in the crafting table and you get a netherite ingot, and as of now when you go into spectator mode, it's really hard to find. Also, you don't use it alone to make armor or with sticks to make the tools/weapons. You were right in the part about getting diamonds first because you literally need diamond tools and armor to get the netherite versions. You take the tool or armor and you combine it with a netherite ingot, and it just converts, fixes durability, everything! So yeah it's that whole process, but yeah thought you should know! So like I said earlier and in the last video, definitely check out the video wattles made!! He literally described EVERYTHING, lol. This includes: vegetation cause there's a ton to know about that, the hoglins and how they're not hostile yet because of programming, netherite, all the new blocks and wood varients, etc! Please look at that, it was extremely helpful! Anyway, I hope you're well and I'm so exited!! So glad the first snapshot came out and can't wait for more!!

I really wish mojang did not make netherite better than diamond. Diamond has been every minecrafters best friend and I just feel like it is disloyal to diamond. And netherite just looks like stone and diamond looks so much cooler especially when enchanted

Don't forget Netherite Gives you enhanced Fire and lava resistance.... very handy if you plan on making a fire or Lava Base

It is stronger, but Netherite is just too rare to justify mining for it, as you need 4 debris/scraps, gold, a furnace, and a crafting table for just ONE ingot. I'd rather stripmine diamond instead of Netherite. Edit : Netherite mining isn't like he said, every ''chunk'' of the Nether has 1 to 5 ancient debris, and is best found at Y-Axis 15.
