This song is fire! Allow me to put my interpretations of the song into writing. The diamonds in the sky represents the glass ceiling that Asian Americans face. From the top down, Asian Americans are represented as the "model minority." We're not like "other minorities," but we're not white enough to be up top. Hence, we're in the "middle of the city." That's okay, because the Asian wave is here (e.g., BTS, Black Pink, etc.) and we're speeding through the night bringing in shine with us. Lucy represents Lucy Liu who one of the first Asian American actresses. For a long time, she was the only one representing us, which is why the lyrics say "Looks like Lucy's all alone tonight." Regardless of the ceiling, she still can "buy tea and all the pearls" which represents bubble tea and tapioca pearls, which is one of the few drinks that represents us. We're still moving forward and we're going to "make it right." But hey that's just my interpretation, what do I know?

We fans are so proud of how far you have gone in releasing music. This is an amazing achievement, and I wish nothing but better things to come. Shang Chi is an epic movie, and the soundtracks are Lit!!! CONGRATS DPR
