(Diamonds) Choices: Endless Summer Book 3 FINALE (ALL ENDINGS!!) 

I had already decided to save the island but I decided to try Vaanu's ending. To me that was the best ending. All the messages that the MC left were so amazing. It showed that true love isn't about spending the rest of your life with the one you love. Sometimes it means sacrificing your happiness to see a smile on the face of the one you love. As I was reading, I could feel the tears in my eyes. I am not a very emotional person but I just couldn't stop myself. This book is very special to me. It would be impossible to forget Estela ❤

I think picking Vannu is the “right” choice b/c Taylor and Vannu weren’t meant to be on Earth. They don’t belong here. Self-sacrificing is depressing but the “right” choice is never easy to make.

The first option makes me want a 4th book, the second option is better to digest and the third option breaks my heart but it feels bittersweet to see everyone together and happy again.

Vannu ending sure knows how to make people cry...

I went with the Endless's ending. Vaanu's was too heartbreaking. I know that Rourke's ending leaves room for a sequel or spin-off, but honestly, I hate him so much I couldn't bare to let him win.

I picked the Vaanu option and it literally took me a week to get over it. I feel like its the best choice for everyone but it still made me CRY. I already imagined a lot more things for them all when they finally escape La Huerta and having the MC gone is just heartbreaking. But im happy to see them all happy in the future

I CRIED. It's just a game and I CRIED. Multiple times. There, I said it. Wow, what a ride. I was really torn between the endings. I didn't want to stay on the island but also didn't want Diego to lose Varyyn. So I went with the Vaanu route to be preserved as a hero in the memories of all of the friends. I will replay the chapter with both other endings though. What a brilliant way to end this phenomenal book.

Endless Summer is truly an amazing book. The best one there is. I hope Endless Summer writer team will stay on the same team and work on another adventure book. I am looking forward to another adventure.

I originally picked the second choice at first because I couldn't bare to be without Sean.. but after seeing how sad everyone was about just staying on the island forever I just couldn't do it.. MC and Vannuu were never meant to be on the Earth.. and I saw all of their embers and the future they could have.. I couldn't just be selfish and let them waste their future on an island (at least that's how I saw it) lol it hurt SOOO bad.. I cried.. but I felt it was the best choice to save their future and for them to be happy

All I can say is I whole heartedly believe the Vaanu ending is the best, as the Rourke ending basically resets everything and while some characters get to come back such as Lila and technically Mike, no one remembers everyone and all the memories that were made are just gone, and while we get to stay with everyone in the Endless ending, it’s basically showed how sad it is since everyone stays on the island for the rest of their lives and they lose everyone they ever loved or cared about, so I think the Vaanu ending is the best one of the three, but I will 100% agree it also sucks, as I want the main character to live and also get to spend the rest of his life with everyone we’ve gotten to know and become friends with

I just ended the book today and i chose to live together in la huerta. I really wanted to choose vaanu's way but the way Jake approach, that's hurting me, man. He lost Mike back then, he made him live again only to find him dead and i think that he cant lose more, and he can't lose me :(. Sorry i'm too emotional HAHAHAHA. It's just these characters linked to me. I know that this sounds so cringey but friendships is what matters to me the most, and this chapters have a special relationships features. I bought all the gems and i found that all of the gems are very worth it! Thanks a lot for your videos! Hope you are doing great!

I will never forget this series, I can't believe it's ending. I can't express how much I'll miss it, how it blew all my expectations out the window, made me audible gasp and cry like very few stories have. Thank you so much to PB for their hard work and thank you Vika for uploading it to poor plebs like me ;^;

Personally I chose the endless route because it felt the most neutral plus I couldn't leave quinn.

Like others, I also sacrificed myself. And when the messages were playing and the scenes, I cried so damn hard. This book will always be special to me, no matter what happens. For those other people who says "That's for kids." to us for playing Choices, they definitely don't know what they're missing.

This is trully an end of an era. :'(

Man, I freed Vaanu and I cried throughout the whole thing... This is the best story I've ever read my whole life.

I thought I was the only one using a male character and dating Jake! :o Thanks so much for this video. My first choice was to go with Vaanu, because I would've done probably myself. But it totally broke my heart, that there was no chance to ever get back together with Jake.. I loved all the scenarios when Jake fell in love with my character thousands of times. It was amazing!

My favorite ending was Vaanu's ending. This may be the last time I'll comment because my phone deleted my history on Choices two chapters before ES's finale so I decided to uninstall it instead. All of my choices, and all of my progress, gone. It feels so bittersweet to not play this finale so I thank you Vika. It pains me to leave because I was really hoping to play It Lives and Hero Book 2, and finish Perfect Match before I left.

Honestly I do hope they make a spin off with rourkes ending, Having the MC gather everyone and try to explain everything on what happened and why Rourke is evil and shouldn't be trusted. Zahra having that footage on her computer should be a clue that The MC isn't lying, and also the way it explains how Quinn looked at him suspiciously it's probably showing they faintly remember The MC but the memories aren't quite all there.

Okay, this is going to be a long comment because I have a lot of things to say about these endings. I'll try to be as objective as possible, but it's going to be difficult since Endless Summer was my favourite story of Choices. I wanted to participate in this debate so I talked to my brother, who is a professional writer and knows more about this things than I do. Also, I've watched all endings three times to judge them as best as I can, and overall they were okay. But all of them have some things that I just can't ignore. I will say that I expected to be at least a little dissappointed since the last chapter when we find out that there was going to be 3 different endings, because I've had bad experiences with other games that have done the same, and the results were mediocres at best. To summarize I will say that I had an easy choice; the Endless' ending, for the reasons I will say now. And just so my opinion about Rourke's ending is clearer, I have to say that I had Quinn as LI. Rourke's ending. This ending kind of angered me a little at first, basically because it doesn't exactly feel like an ending to me. It does make sense for Rourke to do what he did in this ending, but it feels more like a plot for a couple of chapters before the end of the book than an actual ending for it. With this one I feel like everything I did in the last books was for nothing. Everyone goes back to be a little unhappy with their lives, and the characters development was just destroyed. To add even more bad things, Quinn is sick again and she will probably die. Great for me! There are good things about this, you can pretty much headcanon anything you want, and the fact that MC has a real family now is actually very appealing to me. But not if my wife dies, so this ending isn't for me. However, I kind off find it better than Vannu's. Vannu's ending. This was a true ending. It was well done, and the message MC leaves to every character was very beautiful. I actually cried. But there is a very huge problem with this one, and is this: I do not care about Vannu. At all. We found out about him in this book and the only real conversation we had with him was in chapter 11. That's not enough to create a connection with a character, and that connection is a 'must have' if I have to disappear for him to go back to his planet or whatever. Yes, he created my character and yes, maybe it seems like the right thing to do (I don't think so tbh. I think that when a game has different endings there's not a 'right' choice). But first, I don't want to die, and second, I don't even know him. I couldn't care less if he can't go back to his world. When I was talking to my brother he mentioned a nintendo game called 'Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red/Blue Rescue Team', and it seems like in these games the main character disappears in the end, but because he/she wants to stay with his friend he/she is brought back by some sort of god or something. This is what I wanted for this ending, and it made me think about the end of Haunting of Braidwood Manor, where you have the choice for Eleanor to live. PB could have done this, I think there should have been a diamond option for the MC to stay in this ending. It wouldn't have needed the other endings even, just this one with this diamond choice and it would have been perfect in my opinion. But since that's not the case at all, this isn't my ending either. It's actually the worst one for me, just because I can't have a connection with Vannu to sympathize with him. Endless' ending. This was the easiest choice of my life. This is the happier one and, just like Aleister said, the visions in the ambers of hope could happen in La Huerta too so... Yes, in the end is a little sad when everyone say their goodbyes to their families, but if we keep in mind that that scene is a day after deciding to stay in La Huerta forever, it's completely normal. Everyone needs time to adjust. The problem with this one is that there's little information. What happened with Malatesta? And Yvonne? Secondary characters need a resolution too. This was my ending without a doubt, but yeah... something is missing here. Anyway, overall it was okay but it was very rushed. It seems like PB wanted to end the book very quickly and did this. Don't get me wrong, it could have been way worse (*cough* *cough* Mass Effect 3 *cough* *cough*), but it wasn't anything spectacular either. With this I say goodbye to an awesome story, I will certainly miss it. TRR3 is pretty boring at the moment, same with Bloodbound, and HSS and The Junior are just... very cliche student stories. Perfect Match has my curiosity but if that disappears I will quit playing Choices for a while until a new Book comes out. It has been a good journey. Thank you for these videos. :D

This decision became a lot more difficult for me once I've realized they're all hartfeld students and hartfeld is connected to many other books in choices which means all of those characters from those books have died. So I'm choosing between staying with my lover or giving everyone their lives back.

I wish it has a book 4 or a book that continues when you choose to have a deal with Rourke and rewrote history

Maybe the true ending is when you free Vaanu. It is not the perfect ending but I think its the best ending despite you gone from the world to free your friends and make the time right again

Even though 2nd option was the best choice, I just feel that the last option was very well written by the writers. Just as you ship Cor and Jake, I ship Melissa (MC) and Estela ❤ . There is no way I am gonna separate them.

I agree with what you’re saying about Endless Summer having a special place in the heart, but for me, Rourke ending is the worst - Rourke won 😱 I think all endings were ‘bad endings’ but I still enjoyed the series overall

I played all three optiona and I although I absolutely didnt want to stay on La Huerta, it was the best option out of the three, in my opinion. I didn't like the first at all, Rourke's the Emperor and no one remembers me? Hell no. And the last just broke my heart bc I love Sean so much and I just can't stop being with him :) I actually wasn't a fan of book 1 at all and started enjoying ES in book 2. So sad that it's ending nos but everything must come to an end!

As much as how I'm upset that there's no way to save Lila and that there are a lot of unnecessary shit they added in, Endless Summer will still have a special place in my heart, also, Jake is the best.

I hate the endings. For one reason or another but considering how great the over all story was I don't know how this makes me feel. I haven't really felt sad over a story ending since Crown and the Flame book 3 but whatever

I think Vaanu's ending was the best. Though you sacrifice yourself, you get the best ending for everyone else, they're all happy, they remember you and its full of hope & beautiful.

Heck!! I was just like you when I started Endless Summer. I didn't like it at first but I grew to love it and love the characters! My least favorite ending was Rourke's ending because the friends (besides Diego and the mc) didn't meet and Quinn was sick again :(.

Well i chose to go with the stay on the island ending, personally the other 2 endings are too painful i can't bare to see estela sad and the voice message thing literaly made me cry 😭 for vaanu ending. For the rourke ending for me it's just straight up "what the f*ck" we came all this way to lost our friendship 😟 it's too painful you know, i know their families are still alive but I JUST CAN'T STAND IT 😭

I feel like I'm late to the party but here is my opinion anyways. I honestly liked the Vannu ending best. Everyone is happy and their future is what they wanted it to be just like how they saw in the Embers of Hope. Though it had a price where we're gone, but will always be remembered. The Endless ending was also happy in its own way. Everyone is living peacefully on the island, but the rest of the Earth is still fucked. It feels selfish to make that decision where we keep everyone safe on the island where we know their friends and families are dead outside of the island. It was neutral. The Rourke ending... I have nothing to say. It's self-explanatory.

This is the second time I cry because of Choices' stories.. First one, I cried on the last chapter of It Lives in the Woods and the second one is Endless Summer.. And I always sacrifices MC for all my friends' goodness sake.. IT FEELS SO HEARTBREAKING ACTUALLY 😭😭 I hope there is Endless Summer Book 4 and bring back my MC to be with Jake again, without Vaanu's part within MC; just an ordinary man..

To me all the ending gave me a broken heart. I really wish they would do a spin-off of the last ending. It would be interesting even though there are not much mystery left to discover. The first ending to stay on the island is the one that I will go with since the beginning of book 3. I'm not changing my mind. The second is just too damnn sad. I cried everytime Jake replay that message.

Thanks to Endless Summer I found your channel. I owe it so much. If it wasn't for Endless Summer, I would never stay as Choices' long time fan.

At first I was like "wow it's almost like they didn't want to make any specific ending be the 'wrong' choice" and then it got to Rourke's where it's basically like Trump Takes Over The World and oh god I regret everything. I do appreciate the fact that going with what the Endless wanted and everyone staying on the island isn't considered the "bad" option like Life is Strange's "Sacrifice Arcadia Bay" ending was. Endless Summer actually pulled that off right, in my opinion. Vaanu's ending sure did make me cry though.

Oh yeah, if anyone haven't seen it yet, there's actually a book series of this, the first book is called Endless Summer: The Mind Talker. There's actually a book after this, where the main character comes back three years later. It's a pretty cool book so I really suggest you read I and see the thoughts of the main character even more. I think the last book is called either Andromeda or Daughter of Vaanu.

I think...i'm going to choose the endless ending..i just can't let go of sean..he's one of the choices' characters that are special to me(the other is michael from high school story, god i love him so much), though the vaanu ending is the best choice but i just can't.....it is very heartbreaking 😢😭💔

i just want to say that i have a headcanon that in the vaanu ending, after he returns to his home, he decides to send a piece of his Heart back to Earth in the form of the MC. since he’s home, he can deal with a little less power. i refuse to believe that this is the last time they see the MC it’s too sad

In the end I guess it didn't matter what ending I chose because after I just found out about Hero being only a show, it means Endless Summer was also one, and from the art I can say that it may have been just a cartoon. The only thing that doesn't make sense for this is Grace's mother who appears in other books differently but maybe the name coincides or that character was named after the real life person since I never heard her mentioning her daughter in other books...hmm I think the authors didn't really think all this through

They should make a book 4 on the Rourke ending I mean just imagine MC gets the whole gang together and then they take down Rourke

The third ending feels like it could be it’s own whole series, but regardless of the option one picks it’s a bittersweet but well written ending. I’ll probably pick 2 because I had no real romance, but wow...:’(

The last ending...... aka rourke, it seems that he truly loved Estella's mom Olivia in his own way? Also interesting that Aliester doesnt exist in rourke's timeline.. Damn

Truth be told...I chose the Endless' Ending as it provided a compromise and more character development despite the fact the endings felt rushed. I felt that my MC (I named her Canary coz her blonde hair and blue eyes and badass personality reminded me of the Black Canary) needed a chance at life since Vaanu and the others willed her into existence. Also, the Embers showed a possible future that could still haopen and that would not happen under Rourke or with Vaanu but if they stayed on the island, anything could happen. Also, her attachment to her friends was strong and I couldn't bring myself to let go. She had experienced love and loss, all the joy that is life and I didn't want her to lose that.😅 But that's me anyway.

I hope your account icon never changes because this romance, these characters, they've really meant a lot to pretty much everyone who's followed your ES playthrough since Wispa and book 1. I want a resolution to the third ending or at least a where are they now on the island (my choice of ending) if we never get a better happy ending that changes it all for the very last time (besides the MC returns during the anniversary storyline that no doubt some fanfiction writers are composing, and even now I kinda want to write La Huerta forever character drabbles myself that tell the tales of everyone on the island) - it's been one long ass journey and if this playthrough proves nothing else, it'll be that Cor and Jake's romance will never die.

My first book was It Lives in the Woods and I sacrificed myself in the ending. My second book was Endless Summer and I also sacrificed myself because even though it is depressing, it is the right thing to do. I've been depressed, and through it, I knew that the right choices always contain sacrifices.

This was the only story i actually like in choices at the moment.. Im so sad its ending..

The best ending is odviously The Endless ending, the neutral would be the Vaanu ending, and the bad ending would be the Rourke ending

I finished Endless Summer about a year ago and it's still my favorite.

I choose the first option BC Even if its Not right save ourselves and Not the world I couldn't make the second option. I love our Adventure and they are brothers and sisters to me and I love Quinn to much. I would Never choose the Last option with Rourke BC the Endless Said that he would give eu everything and take US everything so. This book is very special to me and Was with me in an important part of my life. I've Been through tears, laughs, squares, angry with this book. Thank you Endless Summer

I chose vaanu ending because the other two endings felt selfish and leaves a cliffhanger. Vaanus ending actually made me ugly cry but gave me closure at the same time.

Thank god I didn't go with the last ending! Varryn remembering and being trapped in a detention centre while no one remembers him is a horrible way to go! I really hated all 3 endings my friends 1.In 1st option the group will be safe on island but whole world died because of our option. 2.In 2nd option the Rouke will be ruling all the people and the group doesn't know each other where as Main character knows everything. 3.On 3rd option this is really a sad ending which I never wanted to see seriously friends the vaanu and MC will say goodbyes to the group and they left earth preventing chaos upon world Due to these 3 endings no one of the options will make a happy life marrying Estela/Quinn Then why story writer make our MC marry Quinn/Estela when he is going to be die for them or being forgetted by them😥

//Bouta be long// First of all this was one of the only books keeping me on Choices, ngl their writing is great but sometimes it's too cringy, predictable or irratating eg blood bound how u are kinda forced on Adrian and other LIs don't really appear often in the book. ES was perfect and I agree at first I was like this book is so stereotypical with Jake being the closed offed bad boy😍 but the I grew to love him and The OTP couple //Jake and ur mc// I really pray to the Lord that Pb does a book 4 or atleast a spin off😭... ES will always have a space in my heart and the characters will be with me forever even.. Rourke kmt love to hate I guess😂, the part when the Mc said eventhough this summer has ended another day will come or something like that it just had my eyes balling the Rourke and vanuu option were actually very good Rourke as a cliffhanger and vanuu was a definite ending but the thought of never being with Jake crushed my heart so endless option it was.
