Hi guys, nice reaction. Thank you. Little bit info about this girl- This video was made when she was 15yo (she is 16 now and soon will turn up 17). She has been in orphanage and has been adopted at age of 5. She became famous with her participation in "The Voice" where judges couldn't believe and comprehend how good she was and didn't choose her, which they considered a big mistake after that. Next year she appeared in the show "You are Super" and won it (age of 14). At 15 she was invited to defend her title in next season and then she won the Grand Prix for both seasons (this performance is from that second time she appeared inthe show). Cheers , friends. :)

The show is Russian, called "You are super", it involves orphaned children or children who have fallen into a difficult life situation. Diana's mother was deprived of her parental rights, and the girl ended up in an orphanage, where an employee of the orphanage fell in love with her and adopted her. I'm 911 like a Porsche. Cher can do 10% of this girl's skills. Diana's dynamic range is much wider, so is her skill set. The presence on stage is the same as that of a 50-year-old singer. Diana has a "black belt" in vocals! This is a vocal contest of the Russian NTV channel for children with a difficult fate. The competition is called "You are super!". Diana won it at age 14. This year, the channel announced the Super Season of the contest, she participated in it for the second time and won the Grand Prix.
She is pretty unique. Diana had a very rough start to life, born into a family where the father left and the mother was an abusive alcoholic, who abandoned her at the age of three - she ended up in an orphanage, and was eventually adopted by one of the employees at that orphanage. She put Diana into vocal training to help her because she wasn't very verbal. Turned out that she was a natural performer, and a rare talent. One of the judges in this show, Igor (the bald guy) took her under his wing, and gave her and her mom an apartment in Moscow. She's got a bright future ahead of her! 😊 My favourite from her is "Rechenka", that she performed, on the same show, when she was just 14. Diana Ankudinova (Dee anna An coo Deen ava) is The Russian Diamond! Diana is a true Contralto. Lowest of the female voice. Abused and abandoned by her birth mother at approx 4 years old. Was nearly mute. Was adopted and given speech lessons using singing to improve her linguistic skills. Her birthday is May 31st 2003. Look for Diana Ankudinova to visit the USA in the summer of 2021.

Yeah, like Cher but with extra talent - and I have been listening to Cher since the mid sixties. For me the comparison is only about texture - this young lady does not need to resort to audio trickery (do you believe in love - a masterpiece of nothingness). She is the real thing.
I think that this performance of "Wicked Game" and also "Dernier Dance" in this show "You are superb" was the best Diana's performances. It's recovered her vocal ability and range in full way.

Я это пишу скорее не владельцам канала, а русскоязычным зрителям, которые читают комментарии. Ребят! Я честно пытался смотреть как у этих обзорщиков, так и у остальных других исполнителей и вот что я думаю: я согласен, что навык пения у многих певцов и певиц неплох, а где-то даже высок, но вот я включаю одну из них, закрываю глаза и не могу определить кто поёт. Хорошо, круто поёт, но тембр и навыки настолько похожи на всех других, что я путаюсь и не вижу никакой уникальности. Плевать бы на эту уникальность, но я однажды попал в ловушку. Вы сами понимаете в какую. Диана настолько выбивается из числа других, что я просто не могу других слушать, мне недостаточно хорошего пения. Мне нужен Дианкин шаманизм. И это не из-за того, что она как и я русская, не важно на каком языке она поёт, гусиные бугорки с мурашатами появляются каждый раз как только она начинает петь. Что это если не ловушка? Я даже пойму всех остальных, кто послушал, пожал плечами и пошел дальше слушать других - скатертью дорога! Я же остаюсь. Это единственный капкан из которого я похоже совершенно не хочу выбираться.

Most of the time artists are classified into a certain genre over time. They can travel outside that box but they usually get back to their genre. In the case of Diana Ankudinova she created her own genre and that does not happen all that often. Two more female vocalists, have to some degree, created their own space within what was generally thought to be a predictable formula for a particular genre. You might want to check out a band from Finland called Nightwish and their song "Ghost Love Score" from the Wacken Open Air Festval. Nightwish is a Symohonic Metal band and their female lead singer is amazing. The other female singer I suggest to you sings in a Ukrainian Metal band called Jinjer. Try their song "Pisces" live session. With both Nightwish and Jinger, their other music is wonderful. Enjoy!

(Dee-ana) is Russian. She learned to sing before she could talk because of abuse as a small child. Was in an orphanage and adopted by one of the workers at the institution. She is a Rare "True Contralto", and an emotional performer. Go to Rechenka next....she was 15 in this performance, but in Rechenka I think she was 13 or 14, and it will take your breath away....good luck with these reactions.

Actually everything I could find looking up Diana on the internet is that when she was born she was twins her mother had an abortion and she was a surviving aborted baby her mother did not want her or any of the other children that she had, so therefore mother always was trying to get rid of her and treated her very badly I think it was about it for years old when the loving parents that she has now adopted her she had problems with her speech so they sent her to someone that could help alleviate this problem and they put her I musical Schooland this is how she became so talented plus a god-given gifts from the Lord Almighty and this video that you just viewed and reacted to she was either 14 or 15 depending on when it was filmed I believe she had a birthday in between start of the show and the end of the show but don't take everything I say because I just got this information off the internet look it up for yourself to make sure I amaccurate most of your viewers will be a lot of Russian people she is from Russia.
