Don Carter DID NOT arrest Obi. Why he went with him to the jail I don't know. Carter told him he could leave at anytime but Obi stayed there. Also, Obi should have called Tariq or Davis...not his brother who ran his mouth.

Raising Kanan was destined to be the best spinoff right outta the gate. The storyline was written since 2014. All the writers have to do is make the revelations interesting and casting the right people to execute those storylines. Book 2 is harder to write because they have no clear direction. They have to make it make sense and make it interesting. They have failed at casting. They have failed at pacing it properly. Micheal Rainey needs an actor of Mecca, Cane, Ghost or Kanan calibre to bring the best outta him. His presence is not big enough for a dude that was around with Dre, Tommy, Kanan, Jukebox and Ghost. He should be moving more forceful and know where he wants to be. You don’t get mentored by Kanan and continue to make all these dumb decisions. So Book 2 is nowhere near as good as Raising Kanan. Kanan is 16-17 right now and he has 2 businesses thriving. Weed and Heroine. He is outsmarting his mom, the Italian Mafia and most people he is around. He shows no fear towards anyone and he can throw hands and put in work. Riq is 7 years in the drug game and he is always broke and getting worked over.
