This was fascinating. I especially like listening to the history of how the arts evolved. I'd like to hear more stories of Bruce and Dan Inosanto. I'd also like to hear more from Diana about what it was like growing up in a martial arts household. Would Diana ever consider writing a biography of her Dad, or even of herself?
about a year ago I was training at Goytias Martial Arts in Chicago and Ron Balicki and Diana Lee Inosanto came in as guest Instructors and I was still a rookie at the time and it took me a few months to realize that it was them and I was so surprised. We did a few Shoot Wrestling Takedowns and I figured this out later and my mind was blown!!!!
Very eye opening and educational video. The great informational/edu and many times entertaining videos we have access to on RU-vid. Not available anywhere else. To hear from "the best" in any field when you just can't be there with them in-person (e.g. for their classes). And I'm noticing more and more that the more "famous" one is in any field (e.g. martial arts) the more humble and less arrogant they are. Ron admitting there are guys that could kick his ass but that they would still learn from him and others like him. So true. Benny Urquidez is simiar in this way. In that as much as he's accomplished/skilled he isn't arrogant and talking trash. Very respectful actually of all others. Must respect guys. :)
I really appreciate things you shared to us , cas a martial artist but im not been through to your training as what you have but if i have a chance to be trained as a filipino i am really proud to be , ive seen different martial arts as i try to research i found this video and its not just you trained someone else but also special forces. P roud to be a filipino mabuhay if i have chance to be trained i will with no question thank the you for sharing it to us....
Thank you for sharing this, where can I find more videos of you and your wife talking and teaching, I would love to see all of the videos you both have done and any with Diana's father Dan Inosanto. Ron Balici is going to Lunch New Instructional Videos? Please let me know so i buy it. All his trainni DVD are great his explainatios are so clear and in detail. Also is fun when he show stuff whit his wife.
