Cyborgs performance was just out of the park!! I bought the first edition of New Teen Titans comic in the early 80s, and this guy embodies what I pictured him to be on screen. Not that Teen Titans go nonsense on TV that my kids seem to like.

Something I really love about this film is how it expertly handles the other members of the League. Through showing Clark's story as an orphan adopted into a loving human family, learning his true identity, and what he can do with his abilities, we come to understand that there are no limits to what these people can do. The only limits are the ones society either sets for them, or the ones they set for themselves, because their powers, without control, are dangerous and could potentially corrupt them. But we also see through Clark's story, the isolation and loneliness that comes with such powers. Being gifted with powers, intelligence, or skills that would otherwise make them gods in comparison to humans, it can make them feel alone and isolated in the world. That isolation forces them to turn inward, afraid of revealing themselves for fear of persecution, or for lack of purpose. And that is shown so well in Victor, Arthur, and Barry in this film. Each one has their own reason for hiding themselves from the rest of society, and literally saying "fuck the world" while they try to do good in their own ways. Bringing fish to an impoverished and starving village by the sea, using access to technology itself to help a poor mother save her child, or even silently take down criminals so fast they don't even know what hit them. They all show what these super beings are willing to do when they choose to hide themselves from the world, and feel as though they don't belong in it. That was the best thing about this moment, because we got to see Diana and Bruce reach out with open arms to these people and give them the chance to fight for something, to give hope to the world the same way Superman did.

I wonder if this represents Jeremy Irons’ own feelings about how to properly make tea, because in the UK the question of whether to put the water or the tea into the cup first is hotly debated. I don’t like Snyder’s movies, Snyder Cut included. BUT… these are excellent performances by Gadot, Fisher, and Irons. So glad they released this version where we get to see how good they are.

I love this movie soo much.. although I feel like it would have been better if Snyder did a series instead of a movie… There is so much things happening in this movie.. would have been better as a 9 episode show! But then again.. this movie is pure CINEMA
