Diana Ross returned to the Moody Theater in Austin, TX on Feb 27, 2024, and as usual, she mesmerized the audience with her tender vocals and undeniable presence. She commanded the room with her songs! The sold-out theater showered her with love and applause, and it was obvious that she had once again proved that time is not slowing down this musical legend. Her background singers and band were on fire, as usual, and they delicately showcased Diana Ross' musical legacy with precision and respect with each passing song. The soundtrack of our lives is easily thrown around by critics and artist's fans, but, in this case, it happens to be true. And the magic that is created by these artists on the stage of the Moody Theater is something to behold. They somehow manage to make each song sound fresh and exciting. Just listen to "Touch Me In The Morning." It's hard to believe it's over 50 years old. Diana Ross herself, seems timeless. It seems like only yesterday she was on the Ed Sullivan show with two other girls, creating history that is still unfolding. If she comes to a town/city near you, you owe it to yourself to see her live. There's a reason she is an icon.
