I got a WNBA subscription because of Caitlyn Clark….not because of this player I’ve known about for years….gee I wonder why???

Question for DT: Didn’t you make the USA Women’s Olympic team right out of college? DT’s response ---yeahhh.. I also had women’s NCAA National Championships that I won… DT’s facial expression changes to a condescending smirk as she finishes responding to that question…(you can tell that DT felt agitated with her situation bein compared to CC’s..) DT also states later in convo---I had multiple WNBA legends that took her under their wing immediately. She also says College basketball is so different that WNBA. Once your learn the steps and rhythm, have a skillset that is superior to everyone else everything will fall in place…… basically she feel more she’s more entitled than CC. For the reason of her winning 3 national championships on stacked College team. That pretty much sums up the hate in a nutshell..

Taurasi’s been really good but let’s not pretend at 41 she’s better than CC. Taurasi played on a UConn team full of 5 star bball recruits. That doesn’t compare to taking an annually below average Iowa team, literally putting it on your back, and taking it to two straight title shots. I’m sorry to the rest of these sad sacks that they don’t bring the massive economy Clark does but thems the breaks. DT had about 87 seasons to create this buzz and she didn’t. Caitlin’s a class act. She’ll allow other players to basque in her shadow.

Clark's stats are better than Taurasi's and certainly better than Griner's or Gray's. Clark is also the most double-teamed player in the WNBA, playing on the worst team in the WNBA, coming off a hard NCAA season, and playing for a coach that plays a plodding style, AND she is still successful in spite of all this! All this narrative that she isn't one of the top 12 players is utter baloney. And now that the "not good enough" narrative has been shown to be nonsense, they are floating a new narrative, "it's not good for Caitlin". Puhlease! The selection committee has two established Caitlin Clark haters on it, Dawn Stahley and Seimone Augustus and a coach who has nixed Clark as a condition of her position: Cheryl Reeves.

Also, I checked the list of number one scores for women in NCAA history. Of course CC is number one, Brittney Griner is number 6. I did not see Miss I won the NCAA tournament all by myself in the top 25.

Diana Taurasi shouldn't be taking up space on this team. Taurasi has been to multiple Olympics already. Chelsea Gray shouldn't be on this team because she's been injured since last season and hasn't played this season. Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese should have those spots. The committee is clearly biased against these Two Women. It's 12 players and 12 teams in the WNBA. It should be one player from each team picked for the Olympics. Not just the Committee favorites. Not picking Clark and Reese for this Olympic team is a terrible decision. Even the Coach pick is a terrible decision. The Committee who picked these players and Coach should be replaced. Kim Mulkey should have been picked for the Coach of The Olympics. She's someone with a Non-Biased approach to players.

Taurasi played on stacked UCONN teams. In her 4yr college career she played with 10 draft picks. 2002 WNBA draft 4 of the top 6 were from Uconn. Too bad Taurasi hasen't learned anything about taking another player under her wing.

DT acts like she wasn’t on (for those days) UConn super teams. Women’s College basketball has much more parity and talent now. Back then it was UConn, Tenn…..and yeah….nobody else.

These are pros, they should know this fact: DT, KM, Stewie, and on and on and on were playing on stacked teams. Clark took a small market team with good players to two consecutive championships. That kind of makes Clark better.

They always bring up a championships like they won them on their own. They went to a basketball factory at Uconn. Probably being the greatest scorer in Women's College Basketball makes you more worthy of being on the team than being a part of a winning machine at Uconn that would've won those championships without you.

DT is right about her and CC not being a good comparison. CC doubled DTs PPG and APG in her college career. CC has about the same PPG and triple the assists as DT this year in the pros. CC leads all of college basketball in points and way up there in assists. CC grew the game into something worth watching and DT could never do that. Did she even look at the facts before smearing CC?

While now all of those "older" players are so jealous of Caitlin that they forgot about the bigger picture, and long tradition of always selecting a young talented player to the US Olympic roster. As a matter of fact I'd add one or even 2 more young players to ensure they get experience and ensure future success. Diana Taurasi should give up her spot for Clark. She's past her prime. Clark is not who she will be yet, but she is the WNBA whether you like it or not. Everyone who is defending Clark being left off starts the conversation saying Diana is playing really well and she's such a leader - even though no one asked them if they thought Diana (or anyone, for that matter) should have been left off the team to allow for Clark. So, even though they say they are for Clark being left off, they start out by defending Diana being selected. Seems like they don't even believe it.
