I'm terribly sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Ask your oncologist about Immunotherapy. It only kills the bad cells not the good. It helped save my life after two different forms of chemotherapy failed. I had severe allergic reactions to the two previous chemotherapy régimens. I was in the hospital for 3 months. However, immunotherapy and later a chemo drug named carfilzomib worked! I was diagnosed in 2018. I can't get a transplant due to so many allergic reactions to medicine. However, it's now 2024 and I'm still here. I have enormous gratitude towards God! One way that I thank him is by searching for people I can encourage and possibly help. I was scrolling to see who may need information for their current diagnosis. I hope this helps you. Four hospitals have followed my case. I still treat once a month so that neither the AL Amyloidosis nor the Multiple Myeloma doesn't return. It has but the treatments helped put it back in remission . I hope that the same can be true for you as well.

@@optimisticdespite that's what I'm going to be starting hopefully wed.. I was supposed to start it this past wed but because my teeth aren't in great shape I had to have some teeth pulled before I start so I don't get infections down the line but I had them pulled so hopefully they start me this upcoming week ill be doing chemo that consists of cyclophosphamide Bortezomib and daratumumab they said for 6 months

It can come from light chain myeloma

Hmmm somebody should have told my oncologist in 2014 when I started chemo/immunotheraphy for AL Amyloidoisis,a type of bone cancer, also known as plasma cell cancer.

So is it a cancer or not pls. So worried
