Her min is 3 dollars probably they don't get more than 600k and realistically 400k at most. And except taxes ofc. I get your point that there are less fortunate people but if they would earn 900k probably Kyle won't need to work or they would not make a video to reassure their patrons

@@hal_jordan2814 I was extremely conservative when I said $900k cos that was the absolute minimum I could be sure of - she has 19,500+ P****ns. According to P****on - QUOTE "On average, P****ns or backers pay an average of $12 per month to RU-vid creators" I used a tiny multiplier of 1.5X the minimum - at $12 they are getting $2.736 million + advertising revenue from past videos + the gift donations.

@crashboop So true! Our dad is 96 so when my siblings and I call each other the first thing we say is “Dad’s fine” before getting into whatever we’re actually calling about.

Yeah it is good news. It brought me to tears. She is such an amazing person. She don't deserve this. We can see she's been taken care of and that she's happy. She'll recover soon.

She really is a fantastic science communicator. Bubbly, encouraging, highly intelligent, and really explains things in an easy to digest manner. I really appreciate her, I'm certain that she's helped to encourage many young people to pursue science, and our society will be better for it. Especially for young girls. Really really really, hope Dianna gets better soon. She's such a fantastic person, it's heartbreaking that she's going through this. She's so worthy of donations if you can afford it.

Sometimes all one can do is to be a friend to a person who is suffering... Empathy goes a long way. it did for me in my own recovery, anyway. Hang in there- sometimes, we have more friends than we know.

Exactly. I admit from time to time I get into dark places and it just makes things worse. A positive disposition and a drive to move forward. As a social media content provider you can certainly know your positive outlook will inspire others.

​​@@tiredofallthis7716 May you ask what i went through? Yes you may! It was a series of injuries which led to disability and eventually substance abuse. Now I work helping others in the same, all-too-common situation. (The treatment paradigm used to be 'here! Have more pills!' That is changing.) It was a ten year nightmare. I'm still waking up. I'm thankful for the support I've received. Cheers!

Although she may improve some at some point, the frank reality is that people with ME/CFS don’t recover in 95-97% of cases. They continue to be ill for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately there are no treatments as the government health agencies have utterly failed to take ME/CFS seriously for the last 40 years and there has been virtually no funding for research; despite the fact that there are 2-2.5 million people in America who have it (not including several million people who have developed it after covid). I’m afraid the chances of her going back to normal are vanishingly small. Sad but true.

You really don't need to say that because it is a form of ableism, by comparing your disability to another disability and go off as better than that person. That is toxic itself and harms people with disabilities in terms of social and culture implications.

⁠@serenity1378 The “guy” did not give them cancer. Human imperfection (genetics), environment, and/or behavioral choices give us cancer and all of the other blights on human existence. When will people get it through their heads that THIS is not what God had in mind for his human creation. Living in peace and perfection was his purpose. It wasn’t God that messed this up, it was Satan. The Devil’s greatest trick was to make people think that he didn’t exist. We are in the midst of a great court case where Satan claims ‘A man will do anything to save his life. Give me a chance, and I can turn anyone away from God. After all, humans don’t need God.’ God is not the source of pain and suffering. But He is allowing Satan to prove his point knowing we are nearing the end of this court case after which he will restore conditions on Earth to his original purpose by means of his son Jesus Christ. Redirect your ire toward the real source of pain and suffering. God’s right to rule was being questioned.

I thought the US was really stingy about disability and other income, doesn’t entitlement stop if you earn or have assets worth something minuscule $12k or more?

I am on a Social Security Disability program, and getting disability benefits was one of the hardest, most stressful, grueling process I’ve ever been through. I filed for disability in 2013, and didn’t start getting benefit until late 2018. It’s, also, can be very costly, too. My attorney got 25% of the back pay, and I still had another $1,000 in supply fees. For all the work, disability doesn’t cover much. 2023 was the first year I received over $10,000 in one year. It’s the only way I can survive, however. It’s a ton of doctors appointments, meeting with your attorney & their team, and being compliant on EVERY prescribed medication, exercise, and anything else your medical team tells you to do. Then, there’s the risk of not getting benefits, the first time, and having to reapply, which happened to me. It’s great thought, but it’s an egregious process!

She might be in a dead zone. She makes too much to qualify, and not enough for all her treatments and such.
