Can't believe Diansheng is making non-WCA events actually fun - first with their 8x8+ Galaxy M series, then the Gigaminx M and Teraminx M, then the FTO, and now a Kilominx! Of course, thanks to Diansheng for sending this puzzle to me to test and review, I've been very much enjoying it.

There must be a universe out there where the wca is full of dodecahedrons instead of cubes and Diansheng is the only company to release magnetic non wca cube puzzles

Kilominx should definetly be a wca event. Fits in well with the rest. It is basically to the megaminx what the 2x2 is to the 3x3 so why not

I did kilominx in the past, and I didn't like it, partially because I couldn't figure out what sort of strategies I could use to be efficient, but also: I too only had the meilong kilominx, so my only impression of the event was on a cube that was annoying to turn. turning with THAT cube looks like a lot of fun! Also BTW: as probably the only mega solver who starts with beige, it looks really weird to see beige be a part of S2L, (Or I guess, just SL in this case.)

Great video!! It’s been a LONG time since I’ve seen an actual cubing video. Unfortunately for years, there have been mindless skits that are cubing themed but not cubing related. This video really is a fresh breath of air.

I just wonder if they will at any point offer black pieces. I (and many others) use a custom color scheme on my Megaminx, where I swap black in for gray, and move gray to replace beige (among other minor changes). I’d love to have a Kilominx that matches my scheme.

Out of the box they felt identical. I've only broken in the primary one, so it's much better now.
