@Diariesofahappyfeet
@Diariesofahappyfeet 2 месяца назад
Hi @mishunot, Yes there are routes using bullet train.... From Kawaguchiko Station you can take Fujikyuko train bound to Otsuki Station and then transfer from Otsuki Station going southbound to Shin-Osaka via Shinkansen/Bullet Train. Osaka is big. Which in particular are you going in Osaka? There are lots of ways to do this. We documented a part of our journey going to Osaka here using Bullet Train. One of the best experiences we had. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lZK1fSwDa08.html More Japan videos to be posted soon including trains, routes and buses so please stay tuned! Thank you and Enjoy Watching :)

From Tokyo to mt.fiji, what would be the bus stop? What’s the difference if green line and red line bus?
@Diariesofahappyfeet
@Diariesofahappyfeet 2 месяца назад
Hi @Mishunot, which area in Mt Fuji you want to stay? Most tourists take the bus trip from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo to Kawaguchiko Station then stay in that area because this area is known for its 5 surrounding lakes at the base of Mt Fuji. Green Line and Red Line buses have different sightseeing spots. We documented the Red Line bus here which you can check it out also - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dUQiFwoxRxw.html More upcoming Japan videos to be posted soon. Stay tuned for our next episode. Happy Watching!

@@Diariesofahappyfeet don’t have any clue where to stay, we will travel by bus if we decide to stay in mt.fuji for few days, then to Osaka, any hotel suggestions with decent price?

Hi @@mishunot , hotels/accommodation in Kawaguchiko area gets pricier during peak seasons but you can get a good deal if you book earlier than your expected travel dates so this can be quite a challenge depending on the time or date of your booking. Not sure with the prices but some guests we knew stayed at Fujikyu-Highland, Fujiyama Onsen, Highland Resort Hotel & Spa, Fujisan Station Hotel, Highland Station Inn,... basically it has free loop shuttle bus service - only for guests of designated Fujikyu facilities. The shuttle runs between the designated facilities in addition to Fujikyu Railway Kawaguchiko station, Fujikyu-Highland station and Mt. Fuji station. You can check out some details here www.highlandstation-inn.com/en/loop_bus/index_en.php There are budget hostels as well if you don't fancy staying in hotels. Hostels in Japan are pretty much decent and clean . Better stay near the Kawaguchiko Area since you are bound to Osaka.... - you may wish to try their Fujikyuko train when you visit Osaka and try their Shinkansen Bullet train too. We documented this trip as well so please stay tuned. :)

@@Diariesofahappyfeet we are going in November, we will be in Japan for 3werks, we’l go to Tokyo-Osaka-Nagoya, it seems complicated if we stay in mt.fuji for few nights, I think after 7days in Tokyo, we’l go to Osaka by bullet train, I haven’t seen any videos on RU-vid travelling from mt.Fuji area to Osaka by train, can’t wait to see your uploads, thanks for your help

Hi @mishunot, the itinerary you mentioned is possible and popular route amoung tourists alike. From Kawaguchiko Station you can take Fujikyuko train bound to Otsuki Station and then transferred from Otsuki Station going southbound to Shin-Osaka via Shinkansen/Bullet Train. You may wish to book seat reservation for Shinkansen bound to Osaka. We prefer you go to Osaka in the morning so you can get a better chance of seeing Mt Fuji while on the bullet train. We documented a part of our journey going to Osaka using Shinkansen here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lZK1fSwDa08.html For the rest of the video, this will be released in the coming weeks so please stay tuned. :) Happy Watching.

Are the places in the green line route better compared to the places to visit in blue and red line buses? We are planning our itinerary and this bus trip is worth considering... any idea?
@Diariesofahappyfeet
@Diariesofahappyfeet 19 дней назад
Hi. well both have different charms and attraction so this can be subjective to every individual visiting the 5 lakes. Although we find the red bus quite popular among visitors .... Red and Green buses are popular ones. We'll post a separate video for the Blue Track so stay tuned.

Can you bring 2 big luggages on red line bus and green line bus? or there are luggage keeping companies within kawaguchiko station? Thank you for answering
@Diariesofahappyfeet
@Diariesofahappyfeet 3 месяца назад
Hi @AinaandLouise , you can actually store your luggages in Kawaguchiko station. if you watched my other video, you can see the lockers just beside the bus terminal. There are various locker sizes you can see there... like big small or medium , extra big, depending on the the luggage sizes but you need to check it's availability because sometimes this gets occupied quickly depending on the season you are coming. Definitely busy during peak seasons. If you are coming just to roam around for a day, we actually don't recommend bringing your luggages with you while on tour because it can be such a hassle hopping on and off except of course if you are going to your accommodation. But if you can manage then i think it's doable. There is a small compartment in local buses to store your luggages which is normally located in the overhead or at the back of the driver's seat but it certainly does not apply to all buses. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching and stay tuned as more Japan posts are coming :) Enjoy the beautiful Japan!
