Sir i have a concern. Hope you will help me out. My uncle is having a 4 months old pet puppy. On 19 may 2022 i got a minor scratch from that puppy’s tooth on my right leg. And small amount of blood was visible in the scratch. I started observing the puppy for 10 days, but on the 5th day of observation the puppy got his first rabies vaccine of his life. Sir my question is if the puppy got rabies vaccine on 5th day of observation. Today 16 days have been the puppy is healthy and alive. Sir we know that if the dog is alive after 10 days we should not worry about us getting rabies as the dog was not rabid. But sir he has got the vaccine on 5th day how sure we can be about us not getting infected with rabies. As one dose was also given to him if he had rabies at the time i got scratch can one dose save him from rabies and he can live for more days. And how sure i can be that i am safe. Hope you have understood my problem sir as i am having anxiety issue now please give me an informative answer. It will be very useful 🙏🏻🙂.
