I'm fighting severe depression for some quite time now and everytime I'm listening to this song I'm feeling like the lyrics and the melody resonating in me, like a gentle sad vibration... It's like listening to an "audio mirror" of my soul, of my mind shattered to hundreds of pieces buried somewhere deep deep down in the pitch black darkness of despair... And especially this version of the song with amazing Leipzid Philharmony is amazingly strong!

Unendlichen Dank für all die Jahre, die Ihr (und vor allem Du Adrian) uns mit wunderschönen Melodien, Harmonien, Disharmonien, komplexen Texten und so vielen Emotionen zur Seite gestanden habt! Die Welt wäre grauer und leiser ohne Euch. Mein erstes Konzert von Euch, welches ich in einem Studentenklub in Erfurt noch in den 90ern erleben durfte hat mich weggeflasht und seitdem bin ich Euer dankbarer Fan und ein Genießer Eurer Musik. 14 years have passed (If I remeber correctly) since the realese of the Valley... I'm still struggling with depression but I can't thank you enough for your lyrics and music. I can remember playing this song over and over again pouring my life out through my tears and feeling relieved afterwards. Loved the video ❤️

Incredibly beautiful. I can't stop listening to this version since it was out two days ago. As like the melody and poetry of it understand that freighting feeling when the dark abyss is a much better option from the struggle and pain from within. It makes me calm and not alone, as it whispers stop and sit for a moment, hear this, I feel you, rest near those trees. Thank you, it means a lot to many of us.

Eins der Lieder, was sowieso schon gewaltig und packend ist. Ich weiß noch nicht wie ich gerade dieses Hörerlebnis in Worte fassen soll... Von Anfang an nahm mich eine extreme Gänsehaut gefangen. Wahnsinnig atmosphärisch und mit jedem Ton ging es immer tiefer.... Puh...ich bin emotionial aufgewühlt.... Danke dafür und das Album wird mich ganz sicher ganz tief treffen...

It feels like you have finally managed to realize many ideas that were previously inaccessible. It reveals you in a completely new light as a person, as a musician. Eines meiner liebsten Stücke von DoD im neuen Gewand. So wunderschön. Ich freue mich schon, es in Berlin live zu hören! Ein bisschen vermisse ich aber die Glocken aus dem Original. Sie haben dem Original eine Kälte und gleichzeitig fragilen Klang verliehen, den ich hier etwas vermisse. Aber auf gar keinen Fall negativ gemeint, es ist eben eine Neuinterpretation mit anderen Aspekten. Das Video ist unglaublich! Vielen Dank für das alles und auch die über die Jahre immer wieder neue inspirierende und wundervollen Musik! ❤

Alter Vatter wie kann man so einen ohnehin schon genialen Song noch besser machen? Genauso kann man es, absolut Gänsehaut Feeling. Ich meine der Song an sich ist schon richtig, schön schwer und düster. Aber das setzt dem ganzen noch die Krone auf absolut.. DANKE Jungs.

Hast do noch nie gesehen... wie meine augen glitzern? Und ich war damals abgeholt. Bis heute ! Emotionen mit Worten so klar ausdrücken und sinnbildlich erklären . Das zeichnet euch aus. Völlig bestechend aber die Nähe, wenn ihr wie damals in FFM erlebt, einfach so durch die Schlange am Eingang steht geht und jeden grüßt,. Beeindruckend
