I followed this video for a recent diastema closure. The pt's previous diastema composites were failing (and slanted). I was able to achieve near-perfect result. Pt and I were very happy w/ results (pt reported it was "perfect"). I would not say it was easy though.
I would suggest a chairside comp tack approach with comp Takes all but a few minutes. the patient can then see the dimensional changes in the mouth, also you can make your putty index directly from this. Works wonders and can save time with pour up of of imp and waxup
