On the island of Chult, somewhere deep in the untamed jungle, a curse has awoken. All across the world, a new kind of death has come; no one can be returned to life, and anyone who has been returned to life is withering away with decay as if they were never raised at all. With a generation of heroes and retired heroes crippled by this change in status quo, all hopes rest on fresh faces as the death curse continues on its mysterious purpose.
