Yeah, that is a critical design flaw! I found some of these bags on Amazon, but they were around £16, so I got my Mum to have a go at making some because she's handy with a sewing machine. They turned out well, and are very useful for organising plastic packers, among other things.
That's a good idea. I still haven't gotten round to modifying this bag yet but I'm going to be making a drill/impact driver tote bag soon and it will be great to have an organiser like this in it.
Looks like storing fasteners isn't the intended purpose, might be useful as a tote for longer hand tools, maybe for a plumber. The open compartments would still act like a black hole for smaller pliers and wrenches to get lost in though, and the thing would be horrible to use in the rain or on a wet floor
Hi, thanks for watching. Pics online show it with pliers sticking out of the top, but all descriptions mention the drawstring organiser: "This work bag is the perfect portable tool organizer to sort and store nuts, screws, bolts, other fasteners, and small hand tools. " Almost all of the competitors for this bag show their bags loaded with fasteners too. Its a shame, I really wanted this to work for me. You make a great point about the rain/ wet floor. For me though, this will mostly be used inside, on a work bench, or in otherwise dry conditions. The beauty of this style bag is that it is quick to organise, and hard to tip over. Unfortunatly this one from Dickies is a swing and a miss.
Es un bolso de calidad regular. Es una pena porque esos bolsos son muy prácticos y útiles. Ojalá puedas coserlo o reparalo. En todo caso, hay otros bolsos de mejor calidad en el mercado.
