The past week, a surge of dissenters in social media expressed their outrage against RA10175 or the Cybercrime Law, myself included. Its provisions, particularly on libel, are blatantly unconstitutional and pose a great threat to our freedom and constitutional rights as a people.
So I called my former band mates from Dicta and asked if we could post something online to express our sentiments against the law. And what better way than to turn to one of our major influences and cover one of their most compelling songs.
Today, October 3, 2012, the law becomes fully effective but the uproar of netizens has not waned. This is our contribution. Kalayaan para sa lahat. Mabuhay kayo!
