There's some weird glass found in the desert of Libyan, that some researcher's suggest, that it was formed after a nuclear explosion. They found similar, sand forming into glass, around the blast site of the Manhattan Project, nuke testing . Only something of that power and heat would change sand to glass like the glass found in the desert of Libyan. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I think it's fun to think that maybe a civilization did reach the technology to use nuclear power and possibly destroyed them themselves in some war or catastrophe?
A meteor impact does the same thing. There is zero fossil evidence for the silurian hypothesis and short of a worldwide conspiracy in archaeology we don't see any evidence in the fossil record for anything that resembles a technologically advanced race whatsoever.
Highly unlikely, a civilization that tested nukes, used nuclear power, then possbly whiped themself out with it would have to get there somehow. Meaning that its not really possible that they used green energy then suddenly went nuclear, that process leaves a trace. The extinction, if it was not natural but a nuclear one for example, also leaves a recognizable trace in the geological layer. (The Libyan glass that you mentioned could maybe explained with a meteorite impact? They can easly rival nukes in "power") My point is and my standpoint on the whole civilization before humans discussion, and this was kinda mentioned in the video too, humanity in its brief existance on this planet left such a disproportionatly great footprint that will be detectable for millions of years or more. Just imagine what another civilization which reached even greater hights than we, would have left on the planet. Intelligence evolved? Sure. Civilisations formed? Possibly, but we yet to find evidence for it.
It can confidently be said that that was not from a previous highly advanced civilization testing nukes because that region only became desertified as recently as 10k years ago.
@@player_unknown963 Well, i had to do a bit of research but it can be explained with cosmic rays, however im much more inclined to believe theories about Mars. For example i believe that there might have been an advanced civilization on Mars at some point.
This is one of my favourite mysteries. I'd love to think we are the 3rd or 4rth generations of humans that crumbled and started again. Things and sphinx having been found and not built along with the pyramids. Gebkle Tippi and the ruins found in Indonesia. 11 000 and 12000 year old amazing structures looked to be cut my lasers. India as well. They just recently found another mega structure. Gebkle Tippi was buried on purpose. So something big happened that we have lost to time.

Cool theory, definitely seems possible for some semblance of civilization to have existed before but it seems very unlikely that is would approach modern standards
I think other civilizations of humans before ours could have easily achieved modern Standards or surpassed them. It would explain a lot of anomalies in stone structures. And I'd say that only stone would survive the test of time, but history would not especially without a way to document it

The answer is yes. The human race, or variations of it, have existed on this planet for much longer than you think. During this time, they have built great civilizations, some of them greater than the current one. But humanity continues to destroy itself and everything around it. There are ancient ruins of those civilizations on the bottom of the marinara trench. You can not get to them, they are to deep for our science. That is just one example. And remember OOPARTS, those are also indications.

It would show up in the geological formations. You’d literally see it in the rocks. We understand the big steps of historical time, w/ fossils from those times & none have ever been complex enough for advanced intelligence.
