I would keep in mind that since not much Geological work has actually been done more than a few rover samples, some massive impacts seem to have only occurred 100's of thousands of years ago by some scientists reconing (probably visually determined), not millions or billions of years ago... I don't think we can rule out a more recently habitable mars just yet.

Yes, the strange isotope ratios on Mars, are claimed to be evidence of a Thermo Nuclear explosion of insanely large proportion. I’ve never heard of another explanation for it but I have some idea as to what happened. It’s interplanetary electrical discharge. It’s claimed that this was electrical discharge between venus and mars. It also could explain Valles Marineris. Unless water flows up hill, something else hand to carve it. Thunder Bolts project or EU (electric universe?) makes said claims. Mars aside, the EU has good evidence to support a lot of what is seen as unexplained or unexpected by the standard model of astrophysics.

The thing that most people untrained in geology do not understand is that pyramids, for example, are not unknown in nature. They appear in previously glaciated terrains commonly when a peak supported several cirques. Pyramid Peak just west of Lake Tahoe, definitely looks like a pyramid when seen from the right vantage point. "Pyramids" are also present on Antartica poking up through the ice. They are features of glacial terrain, more evidence for an abundance of water on Mars at one time. Straight lines, planes, right angles, cubic appearing forms, spheres all occur naturally. Planes, straight lines, and right angles are all quite common. The "foundation" might be a wave cut terrace. From a geological, AND an archaeological perspective they do not appear necessarily artificial. That does not mean that from both those perspectives I do not want to go there and look.
@cruise_missile8387
@cruise_missile8387 21 день назад
Coming up in infantry we were taught the opposite, that straight lines rarely show up naturally. Breaking up straight lines is partly how camouflage works based on that principle that straight lines and geometric shapes are highly uncommon in nature. I've seen plenty of mountains looking vaguely pyramidal but not with near perfect straight lines, all of which are about even in length and spacing. I HAVE seen those on artificial structures however, plenty of times.
@cruise_missile8387
@cruise_missile8387 21 день назад
Possible naturally maybe, but FAR from common. Even my old high school geology teacher always said that.
@theeddorian
@theeddorian 21 день назад
@@cruise_missile8387 Humans produce straight lines deliberately. In nature you see them geologically in jointing systems where geological forces that are acting on at least regional scales create faults in the rock. Rectangular patterns are common in the sandstones of the southwest, and even near cubical systems. Pyramids are not common, but if you look up the definition of "horn", in a dictionary of geology, it is defined as "a glacial horn or pyramidal peak." It is a mountain that supported at least two glaciers in separate cirques. As these erode they can create a faceted appearance to the peak, and depending on the whims of geology and ice, can look like a pyramid. Volcanic necks can also produce patterns of radiating ridges that can look very artificial from the air. The only way to determine whether some of these are artificial would be to go and look. Even here on earth there are features whose origins - natural or artificial - will be debated forever. A geologist will offer very good reasons why something isn't necessarily artificial, but they can't prove it short of getting the other to get a degree in geology. And with some structures, the geologist may very well be wrong.
@cruise_missile8387
@cruise_missile8387 21 день назад
@@theeddorian *straightish lines I guess. From imagery a ways off, how do you tell a very badly deteriorated man-made pyramid from one of those natural examples of said pyramid-like structures? If they can be that similar I think the best thing to do is be open-minded and stay patient while gathering more data, rather than concluding it's one or the other prematurely. That's my whole thing, in some of these cases I don't believe one way or the other (I may have leanings based on current information but I steer away from jumping past the data). I think on both sides if the fence people are making the same mistake of jumping beyond the current data, coming to premature conclusions, and then discouraging any further questioning or investigation. "Clearly it's natural so we don't need to bother looking further into it." "Clearly that's a damn pyramid someone made, end of story." Neither of which are particularly scientific ways to look at it. I've come to be very comfortable not having a firm answer on things (I may lean a bit more towards one hypothesis than another but without confirmation it's still merely a hypothesis).
@theeddorian
@theeddorian 21 день назад
@@cruise_missile8387 Two things, first, as I said, you can only really tell by walking up and looking, and even then, maybe you won't be able to tell regardless of what you know or imagine. Second, and this something that neither archaeologists or Ancient Aliens types discuss that I have ever heard, is whether you are looking at a _built_ pyramid, or a _sculpted_ one. You can convert any mountain into a perfect pyramid by sculpting it, removing every bit that doesn't look like a pyramid.

I am a huge fan of the late Carl Sagan. I have the complete Cosmos series on DVD. But while Carl Sagan did have quite an imagination, he was also pretty based in reality. It was Carl Sagan who said "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" All of my research is based on that statement. Without extraordinary evidence, it's a no go. Period. Those images are nothing more than illusions, caused by light and shadows. Your eyes can pick out familiar images from almost anything. Wood grain, clouds, mountains, desert, etc. That's where the constellations came from. People stared at the stars and picked out patterns. They have no actual meaning. Now that we have actually had robotic rovers on Mars, that have produced VERY clear video images, amazingly clear actually, considering the distance and the conditions under which they were taken. And they have shown absolutely NO evidence of any kind of artificial structures whatsoever. Those "pyramids" don't look like pyramids at all. We have manmade pyramids on earth, that actually have a very precise shape. Those on Mars are nothing more than irregularly shaped pointed rocks. Actually, the current Mars rover Perseverance could easily identify these areas. Its video is every bit as good as human vision. NASA has not chosen to send a rover to this location. Mars rovers are super expensive, and they need to be sent to locations where there might be something of value to study. I see people who believe that any of these things are artificial in the same way I view those who believe the earth is flat or the lunar landings were a hoax. Those who have studied this kind of thing have undoubtably run across the name Richard C Hoagland. He is a well know crackpot (at least among the scientific community) who has spent a large part of his life making ridiculous claims about the existence of alien civilizations and artifacts on the moon and Mars. He has been completely discredited, as he was unable to support any of his claims with any credible evidence. He even tried to sue Malin Space Science Systems, a NASA/JPL contractor, for "covering up" evidence, but quickly ran out of money to do so. Remember we found evidence of dinosaurs on earth from 100 million years ago, but nothing resembling humans anywhere near that old. And I do believe, with the "civilization" (and I use that word only semi seriously considering what we consider civilization to be today) that we have now, with all the structures we have built, and all the devastation we have cause by development, something would still be left after millions of years. I personally do not believe our planet or our solar system has ever been visited by intelligent life from outside the solar system, partly because there is no physical evidence of it, and partly just due to the laws of mathematical probability. The earth, and the entire solar system is an unimaginably tiny speck of dust, even just relative to our own galaxy. I do believe (based only on the laws of mathematical probability, not any real physical evidence) that life does exist elsewhere in the universe. But the likelihood that any such life has ever been to our solar system is so small that I consider it non existent. We have now turned low earth orbit into a junkyard, just like we did to the earth's surface. And no, I am not talking about "air pollution" which is very temporary. I mean actual physical objects. Elon Musk is one of the worst offenders. Remember that just because something is "possible" because it does not violate the known laws of physics, is NOT evidence that it has actually happened.

This reminds me of Charlie Duke’s “Fever Dream” I don’t know if it actually was a fever dream that Duke had or an urban legend but here is the story. You decide. As you may already know, it was Duke (Backup LMP on Apollo 13) who contracted measles and came in contact with the prime crew. This is what caused TK Mattingly to be replaced as CMP 2 days before launch. In between April 1970 and April 1972 he got sick again (Im not sure it was measles again, but I’m adding the measles as context to differentiate that episode from this.) As he was sick in bed, Duke dreamed that he and John Young were on EVA on the moon and found rover tracks. They appeared identical to those of the Apollo LRV but the astronauts hadn’t traveled in this direction at their landing site before. So they followed the tracks. About 3 miles later they spotted another LRV in the distance; it was parked. As they approached they saw it had 2 occupants, who were still. Young and Duke stop, dismount, and walk over. The LRV is unremarkable, well, aside from being a near exact replica of the Apollo rover but there are some minor differences. There are no flags of the national origin on the fenders, no name tags, mission patches, space agency patches, or national flags on the astronauts’ suits either. There is also no writing on the suits. As they take a closer look, Duke wonders if these aren’t extraterrestrials who died while exploring Earth’s moon. But soon he makes a shocking discovery. Duke lifts the gold radiation visor on the helmet of the passenger, only to stare into his reflection; the occupant of the passenger seat is Duke’s doppelgänger! John Young has a similar encounter with the driver. After conversing with Houston, they decide to take samples of the Rover, suit material, and even a skin sample from one of the astronauts. After this task is completed they return to the LEM and prepare to liftoff. Duke spots the alien LRV on ascent from the moon. After returning home and quarantining they are informed that carbon dating tests on the recovered samples reveal that they are somewhere on the order of 100,000 years old!! This is where the dream ended for Duke. Like I said this could be a complete work of fiction, only Mr. Duke could answer the question of if he truly had that dream or not. But, Urban Legend or not it makes for an interesting story and the story plot reminded me of it.

We also have the same situation with Mars that we have with the Moon. NASA doctors their pictures, and Google blurs out regions of interest on Mars, Earth and elsewhere with low res images. The amount of structures and alien vehicles removed from Moon pictures is incredible, with multiple ex-NASA employees stating they had a whole department that doctored these images before public release. When I talk about structures and craft, we are taking about massive domes, spires several miles high, and fleets of UAP. On Mars there is a clear artificial transport network of tunnels which look almost biological in construction, and weave in an out of the surface. The extent to which the public are being lied too about everything, not just the presence of NHI is truly shocking. There is a huge intricate false narrative being weaved by the west in particular over the last century, which depicts a history and a truth that is not our own. Even going back to the Bible, there were multiple 'Books' which described giants and alien interactions, which were edited out because it conflicted with the religious narrative they wanted us to believe. NASA: "Lets not send them to Cydonia as we dont want the public seeing pics of the Alien artifacts there" NASA sends rovers to baren areas of Mars ...... and gets pics of various statue type and building remains. NASA: "Ah, thats just Paradolia that is" Me: "Yeah right" One or two anomalous objects being Paradolia, I can accept that. But the amount of anomalies in the Rover pics ......

Those pictures go well beyond pareidolia. Geo-spatial intelligence analyst have gone over the pictures for fun and are usually unanimously under the impression those pictures strongly mimic structures on earth in how they are laid out. I dont think they are any structures on mars but to say its just pareidolia shows a total lack of understanding of the situation. Seems pretty common for types like you just to repeat things they have heard before without any actual understanding of what you are talking about.

there is direct evidence at NASA. Does touch up their photos. Airbrush them you might say. They even have swap in photos of different locations on the earth for locations that are supposed to be on Mars. there is a type of marmot from Canada that ended up in a photo that caused a huge controversy only to be realized that somebody in their photo department was swapping out photos from earth and injecting them into NASA photos. I will love it if we get a independent country or even company out there with their own camera. I would also love it if they made a policy where NASA was not allowed to alter the photos under penalty of prisonment or massive fines.

There’s a theory going around that says quite possibly the Goldilocks zone in our solar system at one time housed mars and the earth. As that zone began to shrink and exclude mars, if there was life and civilizations as we believe, they all died off millions of years ago. But maybe, if they were advanced enough, some may have fled mars and came to earth. This could explain a lot of things. Just a thought on my part.

@TheNickKennedy
@TheNickKennedy 21 день назад
Interesting theory, but we actually still consider mars to be in the Goldilocks zone, the current explanation for its barrenness is because of Mars’ weak magnetic poles and its proximity to the asteroid belt. its atmosphere was depleted from cosmic solar radiation and the bombardment of many asteroids, hence the plethora of craters on its barren surface.

Yeah been floated around both that way and potentially even Venus. Because the ancients had a think for their Venus statues and astronomical familiarity with Venus perhaps that was the result of a small number of survivors who were able to mate with Earths own humanoid species.

Mars was once a lush tropical paradise, a jungle planet, as a result it has a tremendous amount of fossil fuels just waiting to be mined. We should be able to establish mining operations on Mars and transport the coal/oil back to Earth to supply the United States with power for hundreds of years.

There was never intelligent life there. Look at Saudi Arabia on a map. There’s a big V formation. It’s the edge of a tectonic plate. It’s not artificial. So there’s a line of kind of pointy mountains. That line could be a plate boundary like the Alps, which are also pointy mountains. It’s just the way it is.

Mars is a post-apocalyptic wasteland. There are three races currently living there, all of them underground. They are still at each other's throats. When Elon's unhappy agents eventually reach the Red Planet, they're in for a nasty surprise (mainly, that it's a. post-apocalyptic wasteland). Currently there are around 940 craft larger than 1 kilometre in length in Earth orbit. Of them, the Toleka has been in our locality for several years and was last week joined by the Alcyone, and a month ago by the Asterope., both of these ~3km. Two years from now it's all going to kick off, you'll see. Major cognitive dissonance. You're really enjoying all this UFO stuff, aren't you, AA. So am I. More, please.
