Did an Iron Dome Interceptor land in the Golan Heights?

(33°15'56"N 35°46'08"E) It is unlikely that this explosion was caused by an Iron Dome rocket since the warhead is likely between 9kg and 30kg. Warheads are often 1/3rd the weight of a missile, although in interceptors the warhead weight tends to be reduced in favor of fuel. He (Sulaiman Ahmed) sleeps at night by convincing himself that even if he's making up bullshit, fabricating lies, and actively misinforming people about an ongoing conflict that it's okay- because he's doing it for a "good reason". I'm Israeli, and I can say that a failed "Iron dome" missile can make an impact of two feet on two feet hole, in a roof. From a few incidents that i know of, and the zone of impact is very small not much of shrapnel's flying all sides. Also Iron dome missiles don't fly from Lebanon!

It is absurd to assume that an iron dome rocket interceptor with self-destruction would kill children on a soccer field, given the frequency with which Hezbollah fires rockets.

How could someone who claimed to have 'served' in iraq claim any kind of moral high ground against anyone? How do you explain your justification for invading Iraq?

tbh unless an iron dome missile not only failed to go off on safety timer, pressure altimeter delta AND proximity (ground safety mode) it would also have had to pile into a prepared target location containing chemicals that aren't actually in its warhead preparation to make that color of blast. It is far more likely one of the kids on the soccer field spontaneously detonated from eating too many brazil nuts than an Iron Dome warhead made that blast. I'm not trying for a laugh, I'm just pointing out the absurdity. This all presumes that the incredibly reliable command source destruct capacity had also failed.

First of all, Ryan McBeth forgets that the Golan heights is occupied illegally by Israel and that israel has no right in international law to occupy the Golan Heights. We put sanctions on Russia for illegal occupations in international law but none are ever imposed on Israel. He also forgets that Hezbollah don't target Druze villages. Of course one of their rockets may have gone astray but there again, so could one of israel's iron dome rockets. As Ryan said, no system is foolproof and one in 5000 may not self destruct as programmed. Israel failed to produce any debris that the rocket was one of Hezbollahs which they normally do when their rockets kill and injure israelis

"If Hezbollah didn't fire rockets at Israel then Israel wouldn't need to fire missiles to intercept them" - I tend to avoid these kinds of arguments because they always stop too short to the point where they're in danger of sounding disingenuous. Someone could say, "okay well WHY is Hezbollah firing rockets at Israel?" and you'll go down the entire multi-generational game of tit-for-tat all the way back to 1948 if not before, and to avoid seeming disingenous, you kinda HAVE to go back that far. Yet everyone somehow only goes back far enough as needed to justify their inherent biases. Funny how that works.

This week I saw some allegations on social media of IDF destroying a water treatment facility in Rafah. You've talked in your past videos about how important it is for militaries and the IDF in particular to conduct themselves according to the rules of war. I generally support Israel's right to defend itself, but I don't see how destroying a water treatment facility falls into that category. Am I being misled on this incident??

Why only an "unlikely/improbable" designation and not "very unlikely/highly improbable"?

I'm not an Air Defence guy; I'm a Flight Engineer/Tank Pilot (for AMC-10 RCs - yeah we know, it's not a tank, but we call it a tank because our commanders called it a tank). But I know this, that if that had been an Air Defence missile, it would not be nearly as bad as it seems. I've seen so many of these go off and strike harmlessly, and the purpose of these munitions is to neutralize incoming enemy rockets and aircraft. They really don't need to do much, but after the first Gul War, Patriot, and I assume other platforms, have to do more than just shoot a shotgun type of warhead at the target to hope to detonate the warhead in the target so it minimizes collateral damage. As I understand, being a Tanker, while an Air Defence Missile has been beefed up to deal with the likes of SCUDs and other things, like hyper-velocity missiles, it's not really something that is going to do too much damage to things like buildings. While I'm sure a Patriot or THAAD, if it struck a refinery, might cause an explosion, it's probably not going to do too much to a general civilian infrastructure. But, I'm just a FE/Tanker. What do I know?

This is only the second video of yours that I have watched, the first one was you talking about Australia. I enjoyed both and really like your commentary, so I left a like and have sub'd. Cheers and I hope you enjoyed your stay in my country. Next time I suggest getting out of the cities, but each to their own. I just think you haven't experienced Australian cuisine until you've had a small town pub's counterie (counter meal). I admit though I have only watched two videos so far though, so you may have done just that. But you did go to a Bunnings sausage sizzle, so you did experience some of our finest cuisine sold for good causes. On the video from Majdal Shams you can see that the rocket exploded upon impact. As Ryan mentioned, the Iron dome rocket's detonator is an electronic detonator, that gets the detonation command from the proximity sensor. The Iranian rockets have an impact detonator (in some crude rockets it is a shotgun shell or a bullet casing with a firing pin in the tip of the warhead), so the rocket detonates upon impact, just like in the footage.

Rocket propellant doesn't detonate. The rocket case itself is under high pressure and when it crashes it will rupture and explode but not in the way of a military grade explosive. Iron Dome warhead fragmentation is in the shape of a disk, it has a very distinctive impact pattern and the fragments are small and numerous.
